I've just noticed that you started making music with Amiga... yup, I'm definitely a new fan of yours.
(the first track on your album somehow reminds me of the Dune 2 soundtrack, jolly good job!)
I started making music as far back as the Commodore 64, when I learnt to program computers originally. The Amiga was great, I loved OctaMED, the tracker app of the time. I also owned a sampler and my early Yamaha CS2x, which is all I have from that era now.

I tried installing it, I confess. Failed for some reason. But I've been using mint for 8 years at this point... so it's hard to switch distro.
What do you think I'm missing out on? Should I try again?
The snaps limit prevents me from fully responding. But basically I like the rolling updates, choice, lots of distros pull updates from arch, package manager.
Quick blurb from Grok which pretty much mimics what I said.
I have seen some videos of people buying old IBM thinkpads from ebay for 200 bucks, installing Arch, and running anything on them. The no bloat makes a lot more sense now.
Maybe my wifi card issue would have solvable under Arch.I could have saved myself a few bucks!
If any distro has the drivers it is arch. Old hardware arch is great for but that’s not my jam so no experience.
Arch used to be hard but it is pretty easy to get going with now.
I spent a lot of time distro hopping when I finally gave up on windows.
