Arrogance Kills the Soul

Arrogance is an act that makes a person worse than an animal, and every religion has condemned it. I don't know why people show arrogance and for what reason, when everything belongs to God.

If we earn, eat, drink, have a healthy body, and other blessings, then all of these are from God. So, what is there to be arrogant about?

Those who show arrogance and insult others will face punishment in this world and the hereafter. I see many examples of arrogance in my society.

When a person is not in a good position or rank, they are humble. But as soon as God shows mercy on them and gives them a good position or rank, they become arrogant.

They start thinking that they have everything in this world, and those beneath them should be their slaves. This is arrogance, and it is a wrong practice.

If God gives you money, position, wealth, or status, then it is His will, and the purpose is not for you to think you are superior to everyone or insult others. Instead, it is a position of gratitude, and you should always thank God and show mercy to others.

I said that the end of those who are arrogant will be very bad. I know a person who was very arrogant. He was in a good position, but he showed so much arrogance as if he had achieved this position on his own.

He kept showing arrogance, but what happened in the end? He died young, from a common and simple illness, and became an example for the people of this world. That’s why we should stay away from arrogance, be thankful for what God has given us, and show mercy to the poor.
