It seems that microblogging is now dominating the Hive blockchain after the release of #LeoThreads, many people are fascinated by this feature that they call a "Twitter alternative".

While people are busy creating threads on LeoThreads, the developers of Ecency did not stop to create an amazing feature that will aggregate the microblogging platforms on the chain. This is how Ecency Decks featured has been born!

What is Ecency Decks?

Decks is a feature of the Ecency front-end that helps the user to multitask and combine everything on one screen. You can choose a lot of topics and combine them with other topics which are divided into columns.

How to Get the Most Out of This Feature?

As you can see from the image above, I have three columns on one screen; ecency waves, leothreads, and dbuzz. These platforms are microblogging platforms in the Hive blockchain and instead of using all of them on their front end, I use Ecency instead because it saves me so much time switching screens from one to another.

But how I use this feature to save my time as a silent reader on Hive?

My Ecency Deck Setup

This is my usual routine when I am reading any content on the internet; I read a blog, write my random thoughts and learnings from that blog, then share it to any social media. It is also my content marketing strategy that I use to build my personal brand as an aspiring content creator.

The good thing is, I am doing the same on Hive. I use Decks to make this job easier. How?

I added a community to my column under the "NEW" category from the Hive PH community. This means that all new posts from the community will appear in column number one. When I read a blog, I post the link including my insights about it using any other microblogging platform. I usually use Dbuzz and Ecency Waves if it is a general topic (life, blog, story, travel, etc). Then I use LeoThreads if it is about finance and cryptocurrency.

Also, one thing that I love about Decks is that you can customize and create your deck depending on your interest.

As you can see from the image, I changed the icon and renamed it from Default to Content Marketing Strategy. It is because my routine of sharing microblogs is part of my content marketing strategy. There are times that I am also writing threads that serve as the summary of my blog post then attach the link of the blog post at the end of the thread that will serve as my call to action.

You can also add your deck if you want to use more decks since it has different functions where you can add more columns to monitor someone's wallet, observe the user's behavior and activities, etc. This deck is perfect for those users who are planning to hunt spammers and people who plagiarize others' content.

In conclusion, Ecency Deck is a powerful feature that helps every content creator like you to multitask and leverage the features of every front-end that is released by the developers.
