We all have certain core values that just form all of our personalities. That's the initial foundation of our overall character. They are these sets of beliefs that shape our lives, our actions ,our way of living . Core values are moral compass to an individuals behavior and how they react to a situation they differ from person to person . This means if something is really important for me according to my values someone else brought up in a different culture can oppose me over it. Just like in movies where every Hero and villain have their own personal events and how they turned them the way they do things . For the Hero they have this mindset that everyone deserves justice ,equality and safety . While the villain wants to get everything and for that they only value power , greed and violence .
Here are some of my core values that just are really important for me and if anyone opposes them i get upset .
Respect: The way we are raised in Pakistan we were always taught to respect our elders and not just family or parents this goes to anyone who is old even an stranger . We are taught to behave gentle with them and never raise our voice . So when i see anyone fighting and disrespecting old people i get really offended by that .
Honesty: I prefer a blunt bold advice then sugar coated words . As someone who Studied in a girls only college i literally have learnt that the most toxic people can be also very sweet at your face . So i would actually prefer friends who would scold and correct me for my wrongs then someone who would root for my bad behavior and later act like they hated it. I prefer honest people . Also if someone has lied to me once i don't trust them again.
Compassion : For me Empathy ,kindness and compassion are very important . I feel my life would be meaningless if i don't serve it to help out people. You can differ from this but for me to live is to be of some use to the man kind . So i spend my most time doing charities as much as i can and to be kind to kids and poor . Even to people in need so that's something in my values .
