As many of you know since early this year, we have started to write our Ecency website from scratch with better technology stack and use best practices we learned over the course of last 4 years. New website and rebranding came at the same time and we heavily invested time, resources to make sure website is the fastest website on blockchain. Proudly, we can say that we have achieved that. Ecency website is much smaller in size, much faster to load, much intuitive and saves a lot of internet data usage for all devices. And speed of website doesn't come only with technology stack you use for programming, although it is big part of it, there are other factors that contribute together.
We are excited to opensource so more developers and entrepreneurs can help us grow this ecosystem. All of our essential user facing applications are opensource, because we believe in open, volunteer collaboration and it is the key to grow not only products but entire ecosystem. We are also the first project who initiated community based open translation programs, with help of all our friends, you, we have current version of mobile application available in more than 25 languages, older version of app was available in 58+ languages. All of theses were possible with open collaboration. We will soon start translation of Ecency.com and desktop application, we hope you will help us once again.
We want community to feel that Ecency is their dear home on internet, as we say, we are "social network built, owned and operated by its users".

Indeed, anyone can fork, suggest changes and push code changes. We encourage developers to check our codebase, it is easy to follow, you will notice right away how clean and properly typed codebase is. Who knows, what other apps will be based on this codebase.

In mobile app, Editor page now has ⚙️for advanced settings where you can schedule a post. In website and desktop app, we will add that option soon.

The app version was terrible. It was hanging my phone so I couldn't help but to uninstalled it immediately.
But I'm very glad that the feature will be included soon to the website
Mobile app works differently on different devices, it has its perks like you get push notifications on mobile and other unique features like Spin and Win. We will be working on improving it for sure. Yes, website can be used from mobile browser as well, which is universal in a way, that's why we are focusing on making website feature full as well.

Comencé a usar #ecency hace bastante tiempo desde mi primera cuenta @evagavilan, lamentablemente la perdí por bloqueo involuntario y ahi quedaron muchos puntos acumulados. Ahora estoy con mi nueva cuenta @evagavilan2 hay posibilidad de transferir esos puntos.
Tampoco tengo claro si cuando se trata de promocionar son mis post o los post de otros.

Just found this post. I have been trying to figure out how to setup a front end for some ideas I've had, and this looks like just want I might need. I'm pretty new to this kind of development, and so I have a question. If I fork it, and make changes to the code, will any changes you make flow through to the fork?
