Pre-storm beach walk

Hello hive friends, this weekend, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium were hit by the first autumn storm. The were predicting wind guts up to 120km per hour. That's a 9 on the Beaufort scale. The coastal provinces all got a weather worning code orange, and the rest of the country was code yellow. So, that's a perfect day to go out to the beach for a nice pre-storm veach walk.

The predictions were that we needed to be out of their around 4 o'clock. Here a nice radar image of the storm.

But as you can see. The sky was still pretty clear.

There were a couple of small rain clouds around, but they missed us all.

After the last dunes, the beache and the North Sea became visible. It was about 12 degrees celsius, but the wind made it feel a bit colder.

Luckily, the sun came out a couple of times.

The clouds were stunning today. If you look closely, there are so many different colours in there.

I also found some wildlife in the beach to. Well, this one wasnt alive any more...A jellyfish.

This sea urchin also wasn't working any more. I tossed it back in the sea. Not sure if fish will eat these things. They are probbebly to spiky.

The beach is alway 's a fun placevto ride your horser.

And I found this beauty. Its an egg of a ray. Not sure witch one but is was a very cool find. I also tossed this one back in the sea.

Nexttime we go back after the storm. Then there are way more things to find on the beach.
