Let's learn something about reward system.
You will always be able to see the full details of your rewards from your wallet.


There are three kinds of rewards shown in your wallet.

1. Author rewards

Your author rewards come to you through publishing posts where it gets upvotes. The amount of reward it earns depends on the number of voters and their voting power. So the more Hive power and voting percentage a user votes with, the more reward your post will have. Also, the more people vote on your article, the more money it makes.

How my rewards are paid?
50% of your rewards will be paid to you as the author and the remaining 50% will be paid to those who voted for you (curators). The post payout will be in 7 days. So at the end of the 7 days, the author's and curator's rewards are available for claim. If there is more than one curator then this 50% of the curator reward is distributed among the curators.
50% of the rewards paid to you will also come in 2 forms:
50% is paid to you in liquid Hive or Hive Based dollar (depending on the currency used for payouts at that time).
50% is paid to you in Hive Power
Yet you can still decide how to get your rewards from Advanced settings while publishing posts:

1.50%/50% - This rewards in half Hive Power, and half liquid HIVE / Hive Dollars.

1. Power Up 100% - You can select this option if you want all your reward to be paid out in Hive power.
2. Decline Payout - Use this option to receive no post rewards. Votes will affect the post's position on the trending ranking but no rewards are paid from Hive's reward pool. Replies made to the post are still eligible for rewards.

2. Curation rewards

You don't always have to be a good writer to make money on Ecency. If you have enough Hive Power then you can get a curation reward by voting. The bigger Hive Power you hold the more you can reward the author and as well as earn more curation rewards.
The reward of a curator is always in Hive Power(HP).

There you can find more information about the payout. In Breakdown, you can see that 120 HBD will be back to curators.
By voting on other people's posts, you not only reward them, but you can also earn passive income yourself.

3.Points rewards.

Ecency never tires of supporting its community. Our authors are rewarded with Ecency points for every activity like being active on Ecency, posting, voting, and so on.

• Publishing posts (15 points)
• Commenting (5 points)
• Voting for publications, upvoting (0.3 points)
• Being online (0.25 points for every 15 minutes and + 10 bonus points per day)
• Sharing posts (1 point)
• Checking in (0.25 points)
• When you log in Ecency (10 points)
• For each 1000 HP delegation (100 points)
• When your community has 100 members you can be supported by Ecency and receive points for per post published in your community. ( 20 points)
  They can use these Points to promote your posts or get upvotes from Ecency by Boosting.
