Greetings friends of the community @mundo. autism, I wish you an excellent and blessed week together with your loved ones, it is a pleasure to share a new installment of the Creative Art column, this time the project is about a decorated towel, ideal to clean your hands or carry it in your backpack and clean your hands at the end of breakfast, back to school is coming and it will be very useful for the kids, so they avoid the use of napkins and reduce the emission of garbage 🗑️ in the decoration I used a fabric with hamburger design 🍔 is a simple project to do and very useful both at home and at school, if you do not have sewing machine with hand stitch you can also make this project, and if you are one of those who do not like to sew by hand, you can also use glue for fabric, which can be obtained in textile stores, I invite you to join me in the process of elaboration.
Saludos amigos de la comunidad @mundo.autismo, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana en unión de sus seres queridos es un placer compartir una nueva entrega de la columna Arte Creativo en esta ocasión el proyecto se trata de una toalla decorada, ideal para limpiarse las manos o llevarla en el morral y limpiarse las manos al terminar el desayuno, ya se acerca la vuelta a clases y será de gran utilidad para los chicos, así evitan el uso de servilletas y reducen la emisión de basura 🗑️ en la decoración utilicé una tela con diseño de hamburguesa 🍔 es un proyecto sencillo de hacer y muy útil tanto en casa como en la escuela, si no tienes máquina de coser con puntada a mano también puedes realizar este proyecto, y si eres de las que no le gusta coser a mano, también se puede usar pegamento para tela, que se puede conseguir en las tiendas textiles, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

Elaboration
The first step in making this towel was to cut a 50 x 25 cm rectangle. Then I rounded the corners and cut a triangular piece with a hamburger patty that will go on top. Also a 12 x 25 cm rectangle, plus two decorative strips.

El primer paso para elaborar esta toalla fue cortar un rectángulo de 50 por 25 centímetros, luego redondeé las esquinas y corté una pieza triangular con una hamburguesa que irá en la parte superior, también un rectángulo de 12 por 25 centímetros, más dos tiras decorativas.
The next step was to right-side up the triangle with the towel. I pinned it and sewed the bottom edge. Then I turned it right-side out and sewed the edges. I also trimmed away the excess fabric.
El siguiente paso fue enfrentar por el derecho el triángulo con la toalla, sujrté con alfileres y cosí en la parte de abajo, luego voltee por el derecho y cosí los bordes, también retiré el exceso de tela.
To assemble the center strip, I folded the ribbon in half and pinned the edges of both fabrics together. I sewed with a straight stitch, hiding the seams.
Para ensamblar la franja del centro doblé la cinta por la mitad y sujeté con alfileres enfrentando los bordes de ambas telas, cosí con puntada recta y así quedan ocultas las costuras.
Then I faced the stripe on the wrong side and sewed along the sides. Once the sides were sewn, I turned them over so the seams were hidden or tucked in. I pinned them in place and sewed the top and bottom seams.
Luego enfrenté por el revés la franja y cosí por los laterales, cosidos los laterales volteé para que las costuras queden ocultas o embonadas, fijé con alfileres y pasé costura en la parte superior e inferior.
The last step was to glue the bias tape. I started at the bottom using a decorative stitch and covering the edges so that it covered both the wrong side and right side of the towel. I sewed all the way around and when I reached the starting point I folded the bias tape and overlaid it. With these simple steps, a beautiful decorative towel is finished that we can use at home, or the kids can take to school to clean their hands after eating.
El último paso fue pegar el sesgo, inicié en la parte inferior, utilizando puntada decorativa y cubriendo los bordes de tal forma que abarque el revés y derecho de la toalla, cosí por todo el contorno y al llegar a punto inicial doblé el sesgo y repise, con estos sencillos pasos está terminada una linda toalla decorativa que podemos usar en casa, o los chicos pueden llevar al colegio para limpiar las manos luego de comer.
