RE: Kill Your Darlings

Maybe what a lot of us end up doing is trying a bit of everything, so that way at least we get to experience more range. But, does this lead to a better quality of experience or does it make us more aware of what we are missing and that we are constantly failing to put in as much effort as we would like?

Never a fan of loading myself to too many things. Although I love to experience a multitude of things but I also recognizes the fact that there are only so little time that I have on my plate that they could not be stretched any further than they already are. I love to place more emphasize on what I deem are more important (the top 5 like you mentioned) and making sure that I do it well 😊

and making sure that I do it well

The saying is, "if it is a job worth doing, it is a job worth doing well" -but if we are spread too thin, are we doing anything well? It is like multitasking - it isn't effective.

Amen to that! Hate it when people say I can't multitask (though that is true to a certain extent), but that is only because I actively choose not to pick up that "skill" as it feels like the quality of any output would drop since my mind / thoughts would be all over the place 😅
