Is all the business in your company conducted in English, or are there other languages used in the different offices around Europe?
One way to build a niche for yourself is to find out a) what language other than English is most used in your company and b) what language other than English is most used by customers of your company.
Then learn those languages and you immediately become the go-to guy if there is communication trouble-shooting to be done.
English is the main language of the company, but regionally it is varied on location. We have specialists in localized languages, so I would never get good enough at any language to compete at that level :)
