Yesterday I headed out to Dog Marsh on the Grays Harbor bay for a photoshoot, the first I've embarked on in months. I simply had to break the camera out early, though, when I passed the bus station all lit up and with the full moon behind it.
The full moon the past couple nights has been intense, both its prospect in sky and its bedeviling effect on us humans living below. This morning, for example, there was an armed robbery of the Hoquiam 7-Eleven, which is the first time anything like that has happened in the 10 years that I've been living a block from that store.
Hopefully, the moon is waning now: I work as a clerk at the Circle K directly across the street from that 7-Eleven!
My first post in months too
I haven't posted any long form content to Hive since the end of June. I sort of spent this summer drifting and not really doing any creative work. My main activities on Hive have been curating #creativecoin content through the Creative Coin Fund and occasionally microblogging with my new @cgcliffordgreen alt account.
This week my energy just seemed to shift; suddenly I felt like getting productive.
Maybe it's that moon.
The Creative Coin Fund
Along with curating the Creative Coin hashtag three or four days a week, I've also been buying tokens on the Hive Engine market and maintaining our two Creative Coin liquidity pools (CCC:WIT and CCC:PHOTO).
By maintaining, I mean keeping the liquidity provider rewards on the pools at an APR of over 100 percent; everything else is handled automatically by Hive Engine. I've managed to keep the targeted rate on the CCC:WIT pool for most of the past year, and on the CCC:PHOTO pool most days since its inception in April.
The reward distribution contract for the CCC:WIT pool expires in two days. There will (probably) be an announcement from the Fund (@cccf) either this weekend or early next week about our plans going forward.
