There's something aesthetically pleasing about animal skulls, I think it's something to do with the symmetry of them that causes them to be such a popular choice for tattoos.
Add horns into the mix and you've got something that looks very cool. In Fairbanks Alaska they recognised this and created this Arch as an entrance to a city park in the downtown district.
