That evening in July

Month of July in India is known for the harsh summer heat and humid weather. Temperature goes above 45°C in many parts across the country. And it becomes very difficult to step out.

In last few days I kept on looking for signs of clouds in the sky and wished it to rain soon to get some relief from the harsh weather. However, mostly found gloomy and dusty sky with no texture and my hopes use to get low.

As a daily ritual I headed to see the sunset yesterday and looked for clouds as well. The sky slightly more blue yet flat and no signs of clouds. Then I turned to the West and there was no magnitude of my happiness to see big blue clouds approaching in my direction. And in no time it engulfed the giant orange tone fire ball, the Sun.

Its rays were beautifully diffusing through the pockets of the clouds giving wings to my imagination. I got glued to it and kept on observing the mesmerizing view. Slowly some white clouds created a unique disc like structure above the blue clouds and gave way to the next unexpected piece of art.

It looked like it a ring like structure something like Saturn has. I narrowed down the aperture of my eyes and looked at formation with more focus. And it left me amazed with the colors of the diffused white light. I could see the green, yellow and orange tone in that light coming out of the white cloud. I ran to get my camera to capture this phenomenon and preserve this moment in my memory.

I have tried to capture the shots of the diffused light during sunset and next morning cloudy sky.

Hope you enjoy the efforts. Thank you for reading will see you soon with another bunch of experience from my day.

Hi, @travelingcocoon, these are some great pictures you've taken of the clouds and your city.
If I may ask, what city is this?

Thank you, I am glad you liked it. Its from Gurgaon

Wow! that first image is one exceptional shot. I have never seen something like this before even though I love photographing the clouds and basically anything except humans.

I was so amazed to see that formation of color spectrum over the cloud disc. Even I never saw such a phenomenon before. I am glad I could share it. Thank you :)

You are so welcome. I love watching clouds.

That is just so amazing, you made my day. I feel so happy to share my stories with each of you on HIVE. Thanks you so much
