Solar water heaters are a good use of the free energy raining down on us all day!
Have not heard of using the sun to purify water. I have heard of dripping it through charcoal tho. Hopefully my tap water is always there for me, and I run it through 2 water filtering pitchers before I drink it. So have not had to think about using the sun, but it's good to know!

nice. yeah. I wanna get some filters going later.. DIY style or maybe Berkey. I always liked the thought of making full use of the sun. much more ideas.. :)
