Oi, esse é meu post de introdução na Hive. Me chamo Marco Valentim, moro no Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, trabalho como dançarino e pintor artístico. Minhas publicações serão basicamente sobre os 2 temas: dança e pintura artística, que são tanto hobby como trabalho.

Fui convidado a entrar na Hive no domingo passado em um encontro cultural onde o tema principal era a Hive e estou aprendendo um pouco sobre esse mundo. O encontro foi organizado pela Nexo digital e foi muito produtivo, por isso resolvi criar minha conta.

Nessa apresentação vou falar um pouco sobre, o que me trouxe pra Hive, minha historia com a pintura artística e minha trajetória na dança.

O que me trouxe para Hive

Eu já conhecia a Hive a algum tempo vendo meu filho falando sobre ela, mas não sabia bem o que era, no inicio achava que era um jogo ou algo do tipo.

Durante a divulgação do encontro cultural que aconteceu na escola caxiense de danças eu entendi que a Hive era uma nova rede social e me interessei por entender mais desse novo mundo pra mim.

O que mais me atraiu foi o fato de eu gostar de aprender coisas novas e entrar num mundo que acredito ser o futuro.

Pretendo fazer parte de comunidades de dança e artes, divulgando meus conteúdos e mostrando meus trabalhos e contando historias da minha vida.

Durante o encontro ouvi muitos termos que eu não conheci e tive dificuldade de saber o que era e comecei a aprender no encontro e isso me chamou atenção para que eu quisesse aprender ainda mais as palavras usadas como algumas que eu não tinha a mínima ideia do que eram e aprendi no encontro, como Hive, Hive power, HBD e etc.

Minha historia com a pintura artística

Desde pequeno sempre gostei de desenhar e pintar telas. Sou de uma família de desenhistas e pintores, porem era provocado pelos meus irmãos que sabiam um pouco mais e sempre que eu fazia algo era rejeitado por eles. Foi como eu decidi me aperfeiçoar na pintura e ser bem melhor.

Com o tempo comecei a fazer ótimas pinturas e as pessoas que viam pediam para eu fazer em suas festas desenhos infantis, desenhos de retrato e com o tempo deixou de ser um hobby para ser uma profissão.

Por ironia na minha família dentre meus irmãos e eu fui o único que ganhei dinheiro desenhando.

Trabalhando nessa área comecei a aprender e fazer também esculturas em isopor, decorações com bolas, trabalhei em mercados e shoppings com decoração de lojas e etc.

Hoje faço mais trabalhos voltados diretamente com pintura artística, cheguei a fazer algumas telas com sucesso, mas a maioria é feita em paredes de escolas e comércios.

Minha trajetória na dança

Fui uma criança extremamente tímida, brincava sempre sozinho e conforme fui crescendo, na adolescência conheci John Travolta e James Brown e me encantei pela dança. Desde então sempre dancei solto e as pessoas me chamavam para ir nas festas só pra dançar. Porém, só fui realmente me dedicar a ter aulas de dança, já aos 58 anos e nunca mais parei.

Comecei a dançar no bairro de Bento Ribeiro, Rio de Janeiro. E por ser o mais idoso da turma, sempre pensei que precisava fazer mais que os outros pra provar que eu era capaz de dançar todos os ritmos, como forró, zouk, samba e outros ritmos considerados de jovens. Com o tempo fui melhorando e dançando em vários locais, até chegar hoje a ser colaborador da Casa de Dança Carlinhos de Jesus e tambem pertenço a equipe de dançarinos do Flavio Marques que é o rei do bolero no rio e na Escola Caxiense de Danças em Duque de Caxias.

Hoje faço varias apresentações de coreografias em diversas academias, trabalho como dançarino contratado em bailes e festas e não pretendo parar de dançar até os 100anos.

A dança é um remédio maravilhoso, ajuda tanto a jovens quanto idosos a lhe darem com a depressão, ansiedade e ajuda na socialização de todos. Eu entrei na dança por amor, e não por doença, mas conheci muitas pessoas que tinham sérios problemas de saúde inclusive que tinham tido derrame e com o tempo conseguiram se recuperar com a ajuda da dança.

Hi, this is my intro post on Hive. My name is Marco Valentim, I live in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, I work as a dancer and artistic painter. My publications will basically be about the 2 themes: dance and artistic painting, which are both hobby and work.

I was invited to join Hive last Sunday at a cultural meeting where the main theme was Hive and I'm learning a little about this world. The meeting was organized by Nexo digital and was very productive, so I decided to create my account.

In this presentation I will talk a little about what brought me to Hive, my history with artistic painting and my trajectory in dance.

What brought me to Hive

I already knew Hive for some time watching my son talking about it, but I didn't really know what it was, at first I thought it was a game or something.

During the promotion of the cultural meeting that took place at the Escola Caxiense de Danças, I understood that Hive was a new social network and I was interested in understanding more of this new world for me.

What attracted me most was the fact that I like to learn new things and enter a world that I believe is the future.

I intend to be part of dance and arts communities, disseminating my content and showing my work and telling stories of my life.

During the meeting I heard a lot of terms that I didn't know and I had a hard time knowing what they were and I started to learn in the meeting and that caught my attention so that I wanted to learn even more the words used as some that I didn't have the slightest idea of what they were and I learned at the meeting, such as Hive, Hive power, HBD and so on.

My story with artistic painting

Since I was a little boy, I always liked to draw and paint on pictures. I come from a family of designers and painters, but I was teased by my brothers who knew a little more and whenever I did something I was rejected by them. That's how I decided to perfect myself in painting and be much better.

Over time I started to make great paintings and the people who saw them asked me to do children's drawings, portrait drawings at their parties and with time it stopped being a hobby to be a profession.

Irony in my family among my brothers and I was the only one who earned money drawing.

Working in this area, I started to learn and also make sculptures in Styrofoam, decorations with balls, I worked in markets and shopping malls decorating stores, etc.

Today I do more work aimed directly at artistic painting, I managed to make some canvases with success, but most are done on walls in schools and shops.

My trajectory in dance

I was an extremely shy child, I always played alone and as I grew up, in my teens I met John Travolta and James Brown and fell in love with dancing. Since then I've always danced freely and people called me to go to parties just to dance. However, I only really dedicated myself to taking dance classes at the age of 58 and never stopped.

I started dancing in the neighborhood of Bento Ribeiro, Rio de Janeiro. And being the oldest in the group, I always thought I needed to do more than the others to prove that I was capable of dancing to all rhythms, such as forró, zouk, samba and other rhythms considered for young people. Over time I improved and danced in various places, until today I became a collaborator at Casa de Dança Carlinhos de Jesus and I also belong to the team of dancers of Flavio Marques who is the king of bolero in Rio and at the Caxiense Dance School in Duque de Caxias.

Today I do several choreographies presentations in several academies, I work as a hired dancer at dances and parties and I don't intend to stop dancing until I'm 100 years old.

Dance is a wonderful medicine, it helps young and old alike to cope with depression, anxiety and helps everyone socialize. I got into dance for love, not illness, but I met many people who had serious health problems including those who had had a stroke and over time managed to recover with the help of dance.
