(I actually put in too much water in her home and she floated around a lil... for awhile; then I righted her and dumped the water.... oops! lol. She didn't mind, had her bath at the same time! haha...)
Most unusual pet to keep, we have plenty in the garden, keeping one indoors as a pet and feeding it ha ha only you ingeniously think of giving it a bungalow and finding food.
Dottie definitely does have style gliding around almost turning it's slimy body inside out to get to the destination π

No mesh, she comes and goes as she wishes, she seems to know where home is, so even if she roams afar, she always comes home! She's currently napping just outside her home. So who says they're "just dumb animals, ehh...."

Well, seeing that she is (still) only about 1 cm across, the furthest she has wandered off to in her early days is about 6 feet away - huge distance I think for one of her size... π She wanted to get behind some furniture - a no-no so that occasion I sent her home. These days she goes about 2-3 feet out, and finds her own way home, always! We just keep an eye on her, but she just goes back by herself once she's had enough. Sometimes, she naps halfway.... and comes back after. We think she gets tired after that long 'walk'! π
