Me alegra mostrarles estas imágenes de una nueva tortuga Morrocoy patas rojas recién salida del horno, digo, del cascarón. 🤭

Cascarón muy suave por cierto, no me había percatado de lo frágil que es el huevo de los Morrocoy bebes, de hecho estuve leyendo que estos nacen con un pequeño diente para ellos mismos abrir esta cáscara y poder salir cuando estén listos, y después se les cae, realmente es así pues pude darme cuenta que efectivamente tienen como un pequeño pico en la boca cuando están así recién nacidos.

Very soft shell by the way, I had not realized how fragile the Morrocoy baby egg is, in fact I was reading that they are born with a small tooth for themselves to open this shell and be able to come out when they are ready, and then they are it falls, it really is like that because I was able to realize that they actually have a small beak in their mouth when they are newborn like that.

Es muy emocionante ver cómo sale una nueva vida al mundo y más si es es un animalito tan lindo como este.

La primera vez que ví el nacimiento de una tortuga me preocupe de no que sobreviviera, además todavía tenía el ombligo brotado, paso mucho tiempo hasta que se le secó, y no pensé que fuera normal que saliera así del huevo porque realmente no salió por su cuenta, sino por un accidente, mi esposo limpiando en el patio, rompió el cascarón, así que pensamos que le faltaba más tiempo dentro del huevo.

Pero está vez ya no tengo miedo, ya se que es normal, además estos animales son muy independientes, comen casi cualquier cosa, me refiero a hierbas que nacen fácilmente en la tierra, y no necesitan mucho cuidado, son animales silvestres, no mascotas, por eso necesitan un espacio grande donde caminar y puedan sentirse a gusto en su hábitat, si es el caso de que desee tener uno en casa.

Este Morrocoy en particular "nació" muy pequeñito, de hecho la parte de abajo de donde sale el ombligo o saco vitelino, se siente un poco blanda o esponjosa y el cascarón aún se le palpa un poco suave.

The first time I saw the birth of a turtle I was worried that it would not survive, also it still had its navel sprouted, it took a long time until it dried up, and I did not think it was normal for it to come out of the egg like that because it really did not come out of its account, but by accident, my husband cleaning in the yard, broke the shell, so we thought he needed more time inside the egg.

But this time I'm not afraid anymore, I know it's normal, besides these animals are very independent, they eat almost anything, I mean herbs that grow easily on the ground, and don't need much care, they are wild animals, not pets, That is why they need a large space to walk and they can feel comfortable in their habitat, if it is the case that you want to have one at home.

This Morrocoy in particular "was born" very small, in fact the lower part where the navel or yolk sac comes out, feels a little soft or spongy and the shell still feels a little soft.

Es por esto que considero que en los primeros días de vida estos pequeños pueden sobrevivir sin comer unos días, gracias a este saco vitelino o como le llamo yo "ombligo, supongo que como al nacer no están acostumbrados a ingerir alimentos, por naturaleza este saco le aporta los nutrientes necesario para sobrevivir hasta que se adapte a su nuevo entorno y ya con el tiempo sentirán la necesidad de llevarse algo a la boca. 🤭

Así que, lo que antes me preocupaba, que no los Morrocoy bebés no querían comer nada, ahora ya no me preocupa. ☺️😃

This is why I believe that in the first days of life these little ones can survive without eating for a few days, thanks to this yolk sac or as I call it "navel", I suppose that since they are born they are not used to eating food, by nature this sac It provides the nutrients necessary to survive until it adapts to its new environment and over time they will feel the need to put something in their mouths. 🤭

So, what used to worry me, that the Morrocoy babies didn't want to eat anything, now doesn't worry me anymore. ☺️😃
