In my previous post I showed the stages of growth of the Kapok Tree. From the green pod to the cotton wool like balls which blow away in the wind carrying with it a little black seed. The trunk has huge thorns which can cause pain if leant on but all is forgiven when the beautiful pink flowers fill the sky.
