¡Hola a todos! Hoy quiero compartirles mi experiencia en el Cerro El Casupo, un parque nacional ubicado en Valencia, Venezuela. Ya Hace casi 4 meses, que lo visite, el 26 de diciembre de 2023, Salimos de casa a las 8 am y llegamos al parque a las 9:30 am. En esta ocasión estuve acompañada, por mi cuñada, mi sobrino y 2 de mis hermanos. Aunque originalmente íbamos a ir con más familiares, pero tuvieron que cancelar debido a compromisos urgentes.
- * Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you my experience at Cerro El Casupo, a national park located in Valencia, Venezuela. It's been almost 4 months since I visited, on December 26, 2023, We left home at 8 am and arrived at the park at 9:30 am. On this occasion I was accompanied by my sister-in-law, my nephew and 2 of my brothers. Although we were originally going to go with more family, but they had to cancel due to urgent commitments.
Al llegar, nos encontramos con los policías de la entrada, quienes nos dieron los buenos días y continuamos nuestro camino. (pensé que nos revisarían ya que uno de los carteles dice que no se permiten armas y no cargábamos ninguna bueno tampoco tenemos jajajaja aja pero eso no lo saben ellos.) Observamos el mapa de ruta y las estaciones antes de comenzar nuestra caminata. La entrada al parque tenía una atmósfera un tanto oscura, pero creo que fue más una percepción personal, ya que el ambiente estaba rodeado de altos árboles que no dejaban pasar mucho sol. También se podía escuchar el sonido de una pequeña quebrada y arroyos.
- * Upon arrival, we met the police at the entrance, who said good morning to us and we continued on our way. (I thought they would search us since one of the signs says that weapons are not allowed and we were not carrying any, well we don't have any either hahahahaha but they don't know that.) We looked at the route map and the stations before beginning our walk. The entrance to the park had a somewhat dark atmosphere, but I think it was more of a personal perception, since the environment was surrounded by tall trees that did not let in much sun. You could also hear the sound of a small ravine and streams.
Atravesamos un pequeño lago por medio de un camino de piedras, como se aprecia en las fotos yo por los momentos estaba de ultima pero realmente me siento incomoda de andar detrás de otras personas por eso siempre procuro pasarlos, pero para este momento yo estaba embobada en el hermoso camino y en el verde tan estridente que iba emergiendo a medida que la luz calaba en una perfecta armonía, lo que no estaba tan chévere era que la temperatura estaba subiendo pero fue tolerable por la brisa que hacia.
- * We crossed a small lake along a stone path, as can be seen in the photos, at the moment I was last but I really feel uncomfortable walking behind other people so I always try to pass them, but by this time I was enthralled by the beautiful path and the strident green that was emerging as the light penetrated in perfect harmony, what was not so cool was that the temperature was rising but it was tolerable because of the breeze that was

Al pasar el lago subimos unas escalinatas un tanto empinadas pero no tanto, según mi sentido espacial eran como unas 10 cuadras jajajaj mmm bueno ya saben que todo es subjetivo. Por cierto no éramos los únicos un 26 de diciembre, realmente había mucha gente adulta mayor (no dire 40 porque estoy muy cerca y yo me veo y me siento como de 23 jajajajajaj) como de 50 de acuerdo a los rasgos pronunciados que vi, pero ojo esa gente dura, con una respiración impecable jajajaja los concernientes a mi edad éramos pocos y los niños menos todavía.
- * As we passed the lake we climbed some stairs that were somewhat steep but not that steep, according to my spatial sense it was about 10 blocks hahaha mmm well you know that everything is subjective. By the way, we were not the only ones on December 26, there were actually a lot of older people (I won't say 40 because I'm very close and I look and feel like 23 hahahahaha) about 50 according to the pronounced features I saw, but Be careful, those tough people, with impeccable breathing hahahaha, those of me around my age were few and the children even less.
Ya para este momento la inclinación del terreno se acentuaba más y más y con ello la dificulta, mi ego y mi espíritu de competencia ya Había decido adelantar a los demás. Me sentía como Buzz Lightyear de Toy Story: "¡Hasta el infinito y más allá!". jajajaja perdón, pero yo soy la única que puede alimentar mi ego y debo aprovechar estos momentos de éxtasis jajaj
- * By this time the inclination of the terrain was becoming more and more accentuated and thus making it more difficult, my ego and my spirit of competition had already decided to overtake the others. Acá mi hermano menor ya botando la baba jajajajaj yo también pues , pero aja yo disimulando hasta la muerte jajajja. Soy afín al deporte pero tenia mucho tiempo en invernación

Alla vienen mi sobrino con sus padres y ya el nene aqui mostraba cierta obstinación por el calor y la exigencia de la cuesta por supuesto paciencia es lo que le sobra a i hermano para lidiar con mi sobri y admirablemente lo animaba a continuar

Por acá quise quedar atrás pero nada mas por la foto y tratar de que se notara la inclinación tanto como se sentía jajajajaja

Lo mas curioso de la vista fue que había una neblina que recubría la ciudad y no no era de frio, ni el cielo estaba gris, había un fuerte sol

Fui obvio la primera en llegar asi que descanse mucho massss ajajajajaj ya cuando decidimos bajar elegimos otro camino que inclusive mas complicado y empinado de hecho había que caminar un poco agachados para conservar un poco el equilibrio para no tropezar y caer mallugados jajaja pero definitivo mucho mas fresco y frio por que los arboles se apiñaban mas y por allí estaba el camino del riachuelo.
- * I was obviously the first to arrive so I rested a lot ahahahaha and when we decided to go down we chose another path that was even more complicated and steep, in fact we had to walk a little crouching to maintain our balance a little to not trip and fall bruised hahaha but definitely much cooler and colder because the trees were more crowded and there was the path of the stream.
La naturaleza una vez mas me cautivo y me lleno de vida, los latidos de mi corazón respondieron al llamado y la sensación de logro y empoderamiento me impulsaron a seguir adelante.
Nature once again captivated me and filled me with life, my heartbeat responded to the call and the feeling of achievement and empowerment propelled me to move forward.
Me despedí con gratitud y la promesa de regresar, ya que ella siempre me recordara que siempre vale la pena seguir.

Realiza ejercicios de cardio y fortalecimiento muscular para estar preparado para la caminata.
lleva ropa cómoda y transpirable, calzado resistente y con buen agarre, protector solar, yo andaba embadurnada. Suficiente agua para mantenerse hidratado, pero no tanta para que no sea un peso excesivo.
No dejes basura, no arranques plantas ni dañes el ecosistema y disfruta de la belleza de la naturaleza.
Informar a alguien sobre tu visita al parque, ve en grupo y lleva contigo un teléfono móvil completamente cargado. Al inicio hay policía que no requisan a los visitantes y no están en la gran montaña. Ojo con esto
No te apresures durante el recorrido. Tómate el tiempo necesario para disfrutar de los hermosos paisajes, escuchar los sonidos de la naturaleza y conectar.
Perform cardio and muscle strengthening exercises to be prepared for the walk.
wear comfortable and breathable clothing, sturdy shoes with good grip, sunscreen, I was smeared. Enough water to stay hydrated, but not so much that it doesn't become excessively heavy.
Don't leave garbage, don't uproot plants or damage the ecosystem and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Inform someone about your visit to the park, go in a group and bring a fully charged mobile phone with you. At the beginning there are police who do not search the visitors and are not on the big mountain. Be careful with this
Don't rush during the tour. Take the time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, listen to the sounds of nature and connect.
