Last year in Autumn I visited the Thaya Valley for some photography together with Stefan. This is always a nice spot for some wildlife photography but it was difficult to find birds and impissible for us to spot the wild cats that should live there. But the Autumn forest was extremely beautiful during this time. It was a nice hiking and photography trip with a lot of beautiful landscape impressions. Also the food there is alway very tastefull and one of the reasons I like to visit this part of Austria. Autumn is a very good time to get some Federweisser (Sturm in Austrian German) A fermented grape juice that I highly like. (it is still a little bit sweet but has already grown a little alcohol and also the acidic taste). For me it is always a higlight there. I don't drink wine though.
