Exploring Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Which Was Recognized By UNESCO As A World Natural Heritage In 2003

in WE ARE MOVINGlast year

Hello my dear friends in the Amazing Nature community, today I am very glad that I have the opportunity to be here to introduce to you one of the wonderful places in Vietnam which is Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. And this is the first post in this community so I hope you guys can support my article, I am very grateful for that 😍. And I would like to take you to discover Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, which is one of the gorgeous landscapes of Vietnam was recognized by UNESCO as a world natural heritage in 2003. As I said before, I had trip to Quang Binh to visit here after I had finished the first day with grandparents in Ha Tinh. Let go with me and I will show you some beautiful natural pictures here!

We are quite far from here, it is about 129 kilometers, as well as taking about 2 and a half hours by car, so we got up early at 5am to prepare, we had a breakfast at home and then we started at 5:45am. On the way we watched the sun rise behind the mountains, and when we crossed the hills, we watched the mists melt away, it was really stunning. After 2 and a half hours, through the car window, I saw the majestic mountain range in front of me, with the words Phong Nha-Ke Bang above it, this is a signal that we have arrived, you know it is extremely beautiful and impressive to me. We arrived around 8:30am, and then we had gone to the ticket office to buy tickets before we moved to the boats.

After I had bought the tickets for my family and my grandparents, we approached to the gate to wait in line before boarding. There were many tourists coming here to visit, I believe they also feel excited to go inside to admire the masterpiece of nature. As you can see, there are many boats here to serve tourists, after about 10 minutes of waiting, we finally got on the boat.

After enough passengers, the train started to depart, and sitting on the boat, I can see around the river comprehensively, and the weather was very nice that day, so I took some pictures that I really liked, you can watch below ^^. I saw some young girls kayaking in the river, that was cool.

I am impressed with the river water color, it looks very attractive, besides, I can enjoy the extremely beautiful scenery on both sides of the river such as buffalo grazing, laborers cleaning up garbage near the river bank.

After about 20 minutes of traveling by boat, we came close to the cave, and we stopped at a boat station to change to another boat because that inside the cave, the boatman can only row by hand without using the engine to run. I think the reason for rowing by hand instead of running by engine is not only because the inside of the cave is narrow and dark, sometimes there is shallow water, rowing by hand ensures safety for visitors, but also because of the speed of rowing by hand, visitors can visit, take photos and better observe the masterpieces of nature.

After visiting the inside of the cave, I was really mesmerized by the wonderful view, I think I'm so lucky to have the chance to come here with my family and grandparents to see this. You think I overdo it? Really not, if you don't believe me, check out the photos below!

After sitting on the boat and enjoying the view for about 30 minutes, we climbed the steps inside the cave to visit and take pictures. After that, we moved to the exit at the back to wait for the train to return to the wharf, there were many stalls selling Quang Binh specialties, so I bought some as gifts for my friends.

After visiting here, we went back to the parking lot, it was now almost 12 noon, so we decided to go to a nearby restaurant to have lunch and rest. We are deciding between 2 options, firstly after lunch break, we will return home, and secondly, we will continue to move through Thien Duong cave (aks Paradise Cave) to explore, it is about 23 kilometers from here, also about 40 minutes by car. After thinking for a while, my mother decided to continue, she said that if we have the opportunity to come here, so let's experience everything before leaving, and everyone agrees with her, so we moved to the Thien Duong cave at 1:30pm.

We finally arrived after 40 minutes, where we also had to buy tickets to get inside. The walking distance from the parking lot to the cave is quite long, about 2 kilometers, so my grandparents decided to visit only outside because they are quite old, they cannot walk such a long distance, so I only bought 4 entrance tickets for my family members. There were signposts to guide us on both sides of the road, so we could easily go to the cave. We walked through the bushes, climbed the stairs, entered the inner part of the forest, although we were tired from climbing many times, but after 20 minutes of walking, we finally reached the gate of Thien Duong cave.

We rested for a few seconds and then went inside, I was really surprised by the grandeur of this place, it's like its name, it's really a paradise in the middle of this forest. Looking down from above, there are many steps arranged into paths for visitors to easily visit all aspects of this cave.

The special thing is that there are many expeditions that go deep into the caves to experience more special feelings, if you want to participate, you must register for a tour to go, you must prepare all the necessary survival equipment and you will be led by expert explorers. I think when I have a chance to come back here, I will sign up for this expedition ^^

I can't help but be touched because this place is really too beautiful to explore during my summer vacation trip. Everything here is so wonderful, nature really has bestowed an excellent masterpiece for Vietnam. You know, I feel very happy when foreigners say that they really like this place and that they will come back to this place one day soon, so I feel really proud of this. After taking many photos here, we left because it was getting dark, we arrived home at 6pm with a lot of good memories here ^^

If you have a chance to come to Quang Binh province, please don't miss these places, I promise that it will not let you down. Thank you for stopping by my post and enjoying it, hope you have a good experience 😍 Goodbye and see you later!
