Hello hello friends nature lovers! Today I bring you a beautiful post, where we will learn the basic tips to ride a horse for the first time! for my wife it would be her first experience, for me it would be to remember old times since my last experience was more than 8 years ago, therefore there is always a "first time", horses are fantastic and loving animals but like some other animals they have their temperament and this is important when practicing this activity!🐴🧭💖💥

"Quinta do banco" 🙇♂️🐴👨🌾🧭🌍
My wife surprised me with this beautiful birthday present so I decided to create a post to tell you about this beautiful experience! that for us who live in the city is something "rare", we traveled about 25km from the city of Lisbon to this "farm" that bears the name "Quinta do Banco" and that surprised me because it has a very beautiful story! basically the facilities have passed through more than five generations, it is more than 100 years old and still maintains its tradition, the hacienda has a small "country hotel" and also offers courses and horse riding experience! You can even learn to ride competition horses!😲👨🏫🐴
An activity that produces joy and confidence🎉✨/ Una actividad que produce alegría y confianza🙇♂️🧭🌍
This activity brings so many benefits for us individually or as a couple, I remember that when my wife arrived, being inexperienced, I noticed that she was quite nervous, of course I do not judge her, it is normal to feel nervous on our first occasion but for that we give all the confidence to the professionalism of our instructor! With the passing of the minutes we gain confidence in ourselves and feel that it is we who are in control at the moment and not the animal! Of course, to reach this stage we must follow some instructions that the instructors teach us!🤩😮😏
First of all before riding a horse for the first time we must use protection, in this case a "helmet" in case we fall from the horse we don't get hurt! The first step that our instructor explains that we must do is "create a relationship" with the animal, despite being trained animals that are used to walking "many people" it is always advisable to caress them and talk to them before riding them! This step is very important because they perceive if you are nervous, they are very intelligent animals and they change their "mood" if you are not ready! after talking to him and caressing him we are ready!💥💞🐴😊
I don't know the technical words for this activity, so the step to follow is first to place one foot on the support, then with our hands we hold the chair and with a great impulse we raise our body until we are sitting! our instructor gave us some advice, while we walk with him we should keep our back straight and hold the "rein" with both hands, which is like a rope! since we were with the instructor we could also hold on to the chair! the straight back helped us with balance!😮😲
Our instructor was very kind to us and told us that she had been working with these beautiful animals for more than 15 years! while we walked in circles she talked with us so that the activity would not be boring and teach us everything about these fantastic animals! They really are one of those activities that we repeat because we can "level up" as we learn, for example with training and knowledge you can ride at high speed through the extensive fields of grapes here in the center of Portugal!🚴♀️🥇🙇♂️
With the passing of minutes my wife was already very comfortable and she was definitely not nervous at all! the horse behaved very well with us! if you come to portugal you can't miss this beautiful experience, even though it was very hot it ends up being romantic because after here they offer us wine and lunch! all for only 25 euros! without a doubt the best birthday present ever!🤴👸
For me the most important thing if you want to learn to ride a horse is to see the animal with respect! he is not a "car" being a living being he deserves all our esteem, care and respect! They are also powerful beings and can hurt you a lot so be humble, follow the advice! and above all RESPECT the animal! they are dangerous if we do "nonsense"🤯🤠🤠🐴🏇
