The smell of a flower always have a long lasting impact onnour mind. Flower fragrances can help people feel calm and alleviate anxiety. For example, lavender has a calming scent that can help with anxiety. This is why people always like to plant some flower plant around them to feel refresh. The smell of flowers can evoke feelings of happiness. Different flowers can evoke different emotions. For example, roses can make people feel happy, jasmine can promote relaxation, and chrysanthemums can brighten people's moods. This weekend, I was too impressed with fragrance of Madhu Malti also known as rangoon creeper.

The sweet and long lasting fragrance of the Madhumalti flower not only attracts people but also acts as a magnet for various pollinators. it was during my evening walk, that made me fall in love with these heavy bunches of flpwers tangled along the entrance gate. The sweet smell was enough to give a good relaxing vibes.

It is a woody vine native to tropical Asia that has colorful, fragrant flowers that bloom in clusters. The flowers start as small white buds that turn pink and then mature into a deep red color. The plant blooms from summer to late rainy season, usually from February to May and August to November.

Madhumalti is a hardy plant that can tolerate a range of soil types and thrive in full sun or partial shade. It doesn't require a lot of fertilizer, but you can add some vermicompost or compost before spring, when the plant blooms. During the blooming period, the plant likes a lot of water, but you should cut back in the winter. You should also keep the soil well-drained with a drainage hole at the bottom to avoid overwatering.
