Ly Son Island - Vietnam's new natural masterpiece

in WE ARE MOVING12 hours ago

Hello hivers, how is your day? Going to the beach in the summer is the most wonderful thing and I had a beautiful moment when I was in Ly Son Island last June. Let's explore the stunning beauty of this island in today's artical

Last June, my best friend and I decided to embark on a journey to Ly Son Island, a pristine paradise that has not yet been commercialized. This trip was not just an adventure but also a journey to discover the majestic beauty of nature and the wonderful harmony between the mountains and the sea in Quang Ngai province.

Our journey began in Hanoi. To get to Ly Son Island, we first took a flight from Hanoi to Chu Lai Airport in Quang Nam. Direct flights from Hanoi to Chu Lai are quite convenient, and from there, we continued our trip by bus or taxi to Sa Ky Port. From Sa Ky Port, we boarded a high-speed boat to Ly Son Island. The boat ride takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, and during the trip, we were treated to breathtaking views of the crystal-clear sea and the vast, open sky—like stepping into a completely different world from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Upon arriving at Ly Son Island, we were awe-struck by its pristine and peaceful beauty. Ly Son still retains its original, unspoiled charm, unlike other famous tourist spots that have been heavily commercialized. The beaches, with their turquoise waters and fine white sand, were perfect for relaxation, while the sound of the waves crashing created a soothing atmosphere. One of the most impressive aspects of the island was the absence of large resorts or hotels, which allowed the island to maintain its natural beauty without being overrun by tourism.

We spent time swimming, walking along the beaches, and admiring the towering rock formations standing proudly against the backdrop of the blue sky. The beauty of Ly Son’s beaches lies not only in the clear waters but also in the perfect blend of mountains and sea. The towering cliffs along the shore create a dramatic contrast, while the gentle waves lap against the coastline, offering a serene and peaceful retreat.

What sets Ly Son apart is its volcanic mountains that have long been dormant, creating a dramatic and awe-inspiring landscape. We climbed to the top of Thoi Loi Mountain, where we could see panoramic views of the entire island, with its lush green garlic fields stretching out before us and the endless ocean in the distance. The view from the mountain peak truly took our breath away, and we felt as if we were one with nature in that moment, surrounded by the perfect blend of mountains and sea.

This trip was not just about exploring nature; it was also a time for us to bond, chat, and share memories. It felt as if we were syncing with the island's slower pace of life. The delicious seafood meals, the stories of the warm-hearted fishermen, and the hospitality of the locals made us feel at home.

Ly Son is not only a beautiful island but also an experience that stands out from the typical tourist destinations. The combination of unspoiled nature, fresh air, ancient volcanic mountains, and crystal-clear beaches creates a perfect picture that we will never forget.

Our trip to Ly Son was truly an emotional journey, and if you're looking for a place to escape the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature, Ly Son is definitely an ideal choice.
