Bzzzz!
It is useful to always have a camera at hand! Having experience with SLR photo equipment, I would like to add that it is important that the camera is compact and durable! That's why my Nikon action camera is with me much more often than my DSLR.
Since last busy summer I have accumulated a lot of unpublished pictures of various subjects. From animals and landscapes to a photo report of pouring the foundation for a farm building and to the attempt to disassemble into two neat parts a glass kinescope from an old TV set (unsuccessful attempt) .... Today's selection will be about insects neighboring us!
My spouse called me when she encountered this beetle in the garden where she was working with trees. It was crawling on her fingers for a long time, but these pictures were not sharp enough to be included in today's compilation
This insect resembles a ladybug with its coloring, but it is a different beetle
Despite its beautiful cute appearance this beetle is a pest that in seasons favorable for reproduction can cause a lot of trouble for gardeners and farmers
This is the kind of fly I'd advise you to stay away from. These are the ones that attack farm livestock in the pastures on hot days to quench their thirst. It can bite you till you bleed.
Sits on the skin unnoticed by humans. It's not always possible to kill this fly with a slap. It belongs to the gadfly family
The hive is full of pictures of this kind red-eyed grasshopper. Now I am the happy owner of such a photo in my collection
About publishing this picture, we had a long argument with my beloved..... You know these ladies: - I don't have manicure, I don't like my hands, I'm not wearing makeup, I see wrinkles here, I don't like myself here.... (check the box)
I had to explain that the photo will be cropped, and the post is not about nails and insects, and another sharp unpublished picture of a dragonfly I am too lazy to search in gigabytes of unsorted mess, and she is my most favorite and beautiful ladie, and I am happy with my choice and our amazing child...
Kinda talked her into it, calmed down, forgot about it))))
In case you didn't know, Dragonflies are a group of ancient flying insects with over 6650 species in the world fauna. They are predators that feed on insects caught on the fly. They are widespread throughout the world, occurring on all continents except Antarctica.
The fluffy belly of a May beetle can delight a child on a gloomy spring day. Bub tickles the baby's fingers with his paws, which gives the child much joy to loud squeals
This furry wonder was discovered on the lid of a large water tank. Due to the fact that it is crawling and some of its legs are raised upwards, it seems to levitate in the air as if it were an unknown space creature
Euproctis chrysorrhoea ог Acronicta rumicis there is some doubt🤔
All images are shot by me.
