Hace tiempo que no me dedico a la costura y es porque tengo mi maquina de coser comprometida, pero este día mi mamá me hadejado la suya para que no me atrase en el aprendizaje. No solo me ha dejado su maquna SINGER sino que como siempre ha puesto en mis manos un patrol recortado listo para coser. Es un jumper ya cortado, con el que no supe que hacer una vez que desempaqué el rollo de tela que me había dado.
Tenía una noción de lo que se debía hacer, pero no quise arriesgarme.
Suelo coser cosas sin antes hilvanar y poner en orden... pero como aun no soy diestra en este arte, pues, termino descosiendo una costura mal hecha, cosa que me hace perder un montón de tiempo.
Tuve que guardar todo y esperar al día siguiente para preguntarle. Mamá me explicó y empecé al hilvanar todo de manera que pudiera coser todo luego.
Hoy te presento el trabajo de hilvanado de un jumper rosa de niña, que el día de mañana estaré cosiend y completando el conjunto con una linda bolda de tela.

It's been a while since I've been sewing and it's because my sewing machine has been compromised, but this day my mom has left me hers so I don't fall behind in learning. Not only has he left me his SINGER machine, but as always he has put in my hands a trimmed patrol ready to sew. It's a pre-cut jumper, which I didn't know what to do with once I unpacked the roll of fabric he had given me.
I had an idea of what had to be done, but I didn't want to risk it.
I usually sew things without first basting and putting them in order... but since I'm not yet skilled in this art, well, I end up unstitching a badly done seam, which makes me waste a lot of time.
I had to save everything and wait for the next day to ask him. Mom explained to me and I started basting everything so that I could sew everything later.
Today I present to you the work of basting a girl's pink jumper, which tomorrow I will be sewing and completing the set with a pretty bag of fabric.

Estas son las piez que recibí, correspondientes al pecho y la espalda, con un par de bolsillos y tirantes.
These are the pieces I received, corresponding to the chest and back, with a couple of pockets and straps.
Me dediqué a empezar por el principio (super chiste :D), si ¡Eso es! Las piezas del pecho y espalda tenian una parte interior y había que coserlas y para luego voltearlas.
I dedicated myself to start at the beginning (super joke :D), yes, that's it! The chest and back pieces had an inside part and had to be sewn and then turned.
Cada una de esas piezas superiores tenían que coserse a la "falda" de este jumper. La pieza trasera tenía un corte un poco mas estrecho que la pieza del frente, cada corte correspondíay encajaba con una pieza del pecho o espalda.
Es entonces que junté la pieza estecha de la falda con la parte superior de la espalda; de la misma manera la parte frontal. Tambien hilvané los bordes laterales.
Each of those top pieces had to be sewn to the "skirt" of this jumper. The back piece had a slightly narrower cut than the front piece, each cut corresponding and fitting with a chest or back piece.
It is then that I joined the narrow piece of the skirt with the upper part of the back; in the same way the front part. I also basted the side edges.
Después de juntar las piezas primordiales se empieza a notar como va a quedar todo. La parte que se ve mas estrecha es la que corresponde a la espalda y la mas ancha al pecho.
After putting together the essential pieces, you begin to notice how everything will turn out. The part that looks narrower is the one that corresponds to the back and the widest to the chest.
Ahora llega el turno de los adornos y extras casi indispensables de este lindo Jumper rosa.
Me dediqué a hacer una botonera a cada lado de la falda del jumper. Por otro lado habían dos bolsillos cortados y no terminaba de decidir si iba a poner uno solo o los dos. Aunque finalmente me decidí por los dos.
Now comes the turn of the decorations and almost essential extras of this cute pink Jumper.
I dedicated myself to making a button panel on each side of the jumper skirt. On the other hand, there were two cut pockets and I couldn't quite decide if I was going to put just one or both. Although I finally decided on both.
Armé los tirantes, los pegué y empecé a fijar los botones allí donde quería que estuvieran (Esto solo para darles a ustedes un panorama entero de como va a quedar todo) porque aún no he hecho los hojales, como dije antes, eso será mañana cuando me siente a la máquina.
I put the straps together, glued them on and started tacking the buttons where I wanted them to be (This is just to give you guys a full picture of how everything is going to look) because I haven't done the buttonholes yet, as I said before, that will be tomorrow when I feel at the machine.
Me ha gustado demasiado como ha quedado, claro, quizá los cuadros y rayas no sean tu estilo pero funciona muy bien. Estoy pensando en un jumper de bluejean con decorado de mostacillas que está haciendo volar mi mente.
Aunque mañana tengo que culminar esta costura y su complemento no me queda mas que darte las gracias por quedarte a ver hasta el final.
I really liked how it turned out, of course, maybe checks and stripes are not your style but it works very well. I'm thinking of a blue jean jumper with a bead decoration that is blowing my mind.
Although tomorrow I have to finish this seam and its complement I have nothing left but to thank you for staying to see until the end.
Te aseguro que mi pequeña modelo está contentisima con su nueva prenda y esperando su bolsa de tela para salir a pasear.

Hola @andreasalas, que bueno que tengas los consejos y la ayuda de tu madre para orientarte en lo que quieres aprender. Los jumpers siempre me han parecido una prenda hermosa, tuve uno a cuadros en color azul cuando era adolescente, me encantaba!
