Hello friends! Welcome to this new blog❤️ , I am very grateful to share with you this beautiful dress that I made so that my Barbie would be very elegant in the place where I have her, I had made her one but it was very short like that I wanted one long and elegant like this one I made.

If you are a Barbie lover and make a particular design, I know that you will really like this idea, and Barbie® has evolved a lot over time and every year many trendy clothing models are made for her but it has never happened. in fashion, elegant dresses have always been very elegant and have broken the barriers of fashion, it is worth noting that Barbie's clothes have always distinguished her as an elegant, special and unique doll, and that is what I always want to achieve with each garment What I make for my Barbie is to feel confident in what I do, love what I do and feel happy, thanks to this doll I learned that I can be the way I want to be and I really like this.

In this blog I have decided to make a dress in velvet fabric with a neckline on one arm and long sleeves on the other. As a detail I wanted to add a very beautiful flower with a shiny button, but before I tell you how it turned out, come and I will show you how I have done it and so you see the final result, you will love it ❤️☺️.

We first choose the doll for which we will make this beautiful dress, I chose the one I had saved, she has short hair so I am thinking of making her a bun up with some accessories, I have also previously made the patterns of the dress and the model I wanted This will be long and close to the bust, waist and legs.

Here, as you can see, I have already cut the dress with my provided patterns, remember to cut the fabric 1 cm more since when sewing along the edge it will shrink a little so the idea is to cut the fabric a little more than it is The pattern, with the satin fabric we will make the flower detail of the dress. The pattern is a rectangle that we will then gather on the fabric.

I then proceed to sew the shoulder part of the dress and then join the sleeve. I sewed the sleeve separately on one side since I didn't have enough fabric to fold it.

We proceed to sew our sleeve to the dress and then we sew along the entire edge of both sides of our dress to seal it. I am sewing this by hand since this fabric tends to release little fuzz so I sewed it delicately with my hands, once it was I sewed the back of the dress and made a small cut to simulate the neckline of the back like a sensual dress and to be able to put it on my Barbie.

To finish, I cut small strips of the same fabric and sewed them to the back of the neckline on each side. I sewed a strip to make a small bow. I also gathered the rectangle that I mentioned would be for the flower and that's it. All that's left is to place them on the Barbie wherever you want most, don't forget to sew the button and another nice detail.
