Hello everyone
It's another beautiful week and a great day to us all in this great and creative community @needleworkmonday I wish you all a productive week ahead with great positivity. Today I will be sharing with you the making of this two same outfit I made for my neighbor's two daughters using same fabric.
Before Easter, I was given this fabric to make 3 outfit from it for the family, a mother and her two daughters, well, after a deep thought of how to achieve this, I was able to come up with this pleated gown and I started by making for the little girl first, which was successfully achieved with the combination of a lace fabric for the sleeves and yoke, then I decided to make same style for her sister who is a bit older than the little girl.
With the measurement I have with me, I cut out the front and back bodice using a basic block pattern but with a lace yoke for the front and back with zipper allowance, after cutting the main fabric, it was placed on a matching color lining as I used the lining to turn it inside out of for neat finishing.
The front and back bodice were sewn together and the neckline was pipe with a matching color bias tape and it was set aside.
I proceeded to the cutting of the lower part of the gown which I make to be a gathered pleat, I measured x3 of the waist circumference plus zipper allowance from the fabric and I ran a long stitch on it on my sewing machine before it was gathered together to the waist circumference plus zipper allowance.
The gathered pleat was sewn to the waist circumference of the upper bodice and I pleated lining under the pleated flare and a zipper was sewn to the zipper allowance at the back.
I cut out a basic sleeves from the lace fabric I bought to combine the outfit and i cut out a long piece from the main fabric which was used to pipe the hem of the sleeves before it was sewn to the armhole circumference
Finally, the hem of the gown was folded in and it was sewn round. This is the beautiful outcome and after making this two outfit, to my surprise, I still have enough fabric left to complete the mother's outfit as well. The girls were so happy to have their new outfit for the Easter celebration.
Confection dmeencantan rus confections, what a beauty, I would buy the product, I like to find your content, I learn from people like you, with experience, I greet you from Margarita, by the way the detail of the lace is great, I like the fabric.e child flannel Snoopy with basic pattern.

What beautiful dresses, the color is beautiful, the girls will look very pretty together so that they are satisfied and not fighting over something different, it was the best idea.
That's it, I just have to make same outfit for the children, I'm glad you understand how little children can be when it comes to same fabric with different style made for them 😃😃
Thanks so much for your comment.
😄Children are very detail-oriented and if they see something different they think it may be competition or favoritism. With this idea you can mitigate that good quality.
