Greetings to you all in this community @needleworkmonday I hope you are are doing great, it's with great pleasure I bring to you today my recent creativity, the making of a pin or peg bag I made for my clothes using left over fabric, you can see how beautiful and nice it looks with my pegs in it.

I can boldly say there is a lot you can do with your left over fabrics even things you don't think or can imagine, sometimes you will be surprised at what is being made with fabrics especially pieces of left over fabrics, I have come to realize that making these craft also saves you some money and reduce cost of buying most of these things from the store, here I will show you how I made this pegs bag I made and I'm so glad I was able to do this myself.

Before now, I have a small transparent bag I put my pegs but after awhile, the handle cut off and the bag began to tire so I had to replace it, I was thinking of getting another bag from the store and this thought came to my mind that with my creativity, I can make a small bag where I can keep my pegs but I don't really want the regular bags I usually make then I decided to try something different and it came out beautiful, nice and useful.

This pegs bag I made has a handle to hang on the wall, a pressing button to clip the opening together to secure the pegs inside and a bias tape to pipe the edges to give it a beautiful outcome.

Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process

First thing I did was to cut out 2 pieces of 17 x 12" from the pieces of fabric.

I took one of the cut out pieces and folded it in two just as seen below.

It was then folded in two again and now I have four folds

From the folded end, I measured 3" and 1.5" upward and marked it out.

I made a curve from the top to the point I marked and it was cut out.

This was used to cut out same shape on the other fabric and one of the fabric was placed on an interfacing to cut out same shape and the interfacing was ironed on the wrong side of the fabric

I placed the two pieces together right side to right side and it was sewn together

It was turned inside out then I placed a bias tape and sew it round the edges on the right side while I sew the opening together as well

Both sides were sewn together as I folded one end to the other on the wrong side just as seen below

For the handle, I cut out 16 x 4" of a matching color fabric with the bias tape and it was folded and sewn together on both sides.

The handle was placed in between the two pieces and was sewn together on both sides

Finally, I used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button at the center and the opposite side and it was used to secure the pegs inside the bag.

This is so beautiful and useful, I hope you like the beautiful outcome.

This has really save me some amount of money that I would have used to purchase similar bag from the store, I'm so glad that I can use pieces of fabric to create this useful bag. Thanks so much for your encouragement and tireless support.

It's a nice design, looks easy to make, good day.

Thanks so much

It is a very practical way to store the pegs, so we avoid losing them so often, it is also more convenient to take to the clothesline.
I'm glad you shared it.
Regards.

Thanks so much, I'm glad you understood the usefulness of this and the work put together to achieve this.
