It's a beautiful day out here and I hope you all are doing great, I bring you greetings from my sewing room as I bring to you the making of this 2 zipper purse with top as requested by my friend.

Making fabric purse, wallet and bags has been my recent creativity making this has made people patronize me so much that I have a lot of requests from friends, family and clients, sometimes, I used pieces of fabric from client fabric to make matching purse for them and they really do appreciate it. This time, I have this requested by my friend to make 3 different types of purse for her and this is the first one I'm making and other design will follow subsequently.

Join me in the cutting and sewing process

From the fabric I have, I cut out 2 pieces of 8 x 6.5" with interfacing ironed on both and lining.

I took one of the main fabric and cut out 2",

I cut out 8 x 6.5" for the front pocket, it was taking to the sewing machine with the zipper and it was sewn together.

The pocket lining was folded up and the 2" cut out was sewn on the other side.

For the handle, I cut out 8 x 2" which was folded and sewn on both sides before being sewn on the other piece.

I took the second zipper and sew it at the top of the main fabric with lining and top stitched on the right side on both sides

It was folded lining to lining and fabric to fabric, I sew on both sides leaving an opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out with the zipper opened to the middle.

It was turned inside out through the opening and the opening was folded in and sewn on

The lining was put back in the main purse and I have my friend's first requested purse ready.

After the successful completion of this first design, I can now proceed to the making of the remaining two and I'm sure she will like them all.

This is the final outcome and it will be so nice for keeping phone, cash and cards, it's cheaper and very useful as well.
