Estos días he estado pesando mucho en que voy hacer este año el día de las madres; ya hace un año la pasamos encerrados en casa porque la pandemia estaba comenzando a propagarse por todo el país, pero nadie se iba a imaginar que por segunda vez nos íbamos a tener que quedar en casa para no correr el riesgo de infectarnos.

    Es por eso que estoy pensando en hacer una comida sencilla e invitar a mi hermana con su familia nada más y as no pasarla tan solos. Aun no sé qué voy a preparar, pero lo que si se en estos momentos es que quiero sorprender a mi hermana con un hermoso tapabocas con tulipanes tejido en crochet. Por supuesto que yo no me quedé atrás y ya me hice el mío.

    Este tutorial con tulipanes lo he visto muchas veces en internet y recuerdo que hace un tiempo me hice una bosa para guardar el celular que quedó muy hermoso. Así que si les gusta tejer las invito a seguir este pequeño tutorial, verán que sencillo es.

Materiales que vamos a utilizar 💝 Materials we are going to use

• hilo de crochet de hebra delgada, podría ser de la marca Carmencita o pescadora, colores rosa, verde y veis.

• aguja de tejer # 2 m.m

• trozo de tela blanco o rosado.

• crochet thread of thin strand, could be Carmencita or pescadora brand, colors pink, green and veis.

• knitting needle # 2 m.m

• piece of white or pink fabric.

Tutorial

    1ra vuelta- Iniciamos tejiendo 45 cadenetas, hacemos una cadeneta más y tejemos 7 puntos bajos, luego tejemos 3 medios puntos y continuamos con 12 puntos altos, en el siguiente punto de base vamos a tejer un aumento, es decir 3 puntos altos en el mismo sitio. Continuamos con 12 puntos altos, 3 medios puntos y 7 puntos bajos.

    2da vuelta- cambiamos de hebra color verde para realizar las hojas. Tejemos una cadeneta y 7 puntos bajos, luego 3 medios puntos, saltamos una cadeneta y nos metemos en el siguiente punto de base con un punto alto, cadeneta y en el mismo sitio otro punto alto. Ahora saltamos dos puntos de base y tejemos un punto alto en el siguiente punto de base, una cadeneta y en el mismo sitio tejemos un punto alto; repetimos este proceso hasta llegar a el otro extremo donde vamos a saltar un punto de base y continuamos como el principio, 3 medios puntos y 7 puntos bajos. En total debemos tener 9 triángulos que serían para un total de 9 flores.

1st row- We start by knitting 45 chains, we make one more chain and knit 7 single crochet, then we knit 3 half stitches and continue with 12 double crochet, in the next base stitch we are going to knit an increase, that is 3 double crochet in the same place. Now we skip two basic stitches and knit a double crochet in the next basic stitch, a chain and in the same place we knit a double crochet; we repeat this process until we get to the other end where we are going to skip a basic stitch and continue as in the beginning, 3 half stitches and 7 single crochets. In total we should have 9 triangles which would be for a total of 9 flowers.

    3ra vuelta. Cambiamos de hebra a color rosado o color de tu preferencia para poner color a la flor. Si gustas puedes ir cortando los hilos o sino los dejas ahí bien ajustados porque los vamos a seguir utilizando. Tejemos una cadeneta y 7 puntos bajos, luego 3 medios puntos y una cadeneta, ahora nos vamos a meter dentro de la hoja tejiendo 5 puntos altos sin terminar, tomamos hebra y sacamos por entre los 5 puntos altos para unirlos todos de una vez, luego tejemos 2 cadenetas y volvemos a repetir el mismo proceso en cada espacio de hoja, finalizamos esta vuelta con una cadeneta 3 medios puntos y 7 puntos bajos.

3rd row. We change the strand to pink or color of your preference to put color to the flower. If you like you can cut the threads or leave them there tightly because we are going to continue using them.     4ta vuelta- Cambiamos de hebra al color beis. Tejemos una cadeneta y 7 puntos bajos, luego 3 medios puntos, tomamos hebra y nos vamos a meter con un punto alto en el espacio de cadeneta de la vuelta anterior. Seguido tejemos un punto alto sobre la flor y luego dos puntos altos en el espacio de cadeneta de la vuelta anterior. Continuamos con el mismo proceso hasta llegar al otro extremo y finalizamos con un punto alto dentro del espacio de cadeneta de la vuelta anterior, 3 medios puntos y 7 puntos bajos.

    5ta vuelta- repetimos el mismo proceso de hojas de la vuelta número 2.

    6ta vuelta- En esta vuelta vamos a cortar el hilo y nos vamos a posicionar del lado derecho o lo que será nuestro frente del tapaboca o mascara, ya que los tulipanes deben quedar lisos, eso dará más belleza a la pieza que vamos a utilizar. esto lo vamos a realizar en cada vuelta que vayamos a tejer la flor del tulipán.

4th row- We change the yarn to beige. We knit a chain and 7 single crochet, then 3 half stitches, pick up yarn and go into the chain space of the previous row with a single crochet. Then we knit a single crochet over the flower and then two double crochet stitches in the chain stitch of the previous row. We continue with the same process until we reach the other end and finish with a single crochet inside the chain stitch of the previous row, 3 half stitches and 7 single crochets.

5th row - we repeat the same process of the leaves of the 2nd row.

6th row- In this round we are going to cut the yarn and we are going to position ourselves on the right side or what will be our front of the face cover or mask, since the tulips should be smooth, this will give more beauty to the piece we are going to use. we are going to do this in each round we are going to knit the tulip flower.

    Repetimos de aquí en adelante el mismo proceso hasta tener el tamaño deseado, en mi caso he tejido 4 rondas de flor. Ya para terminar tomamos hilo beis y tejemos de la siguiente manera. Tejemos una cadeneta y 7 puntos bajos, luego 3 medios puntos, tomamos hebra y repetimos el mismo proceso de la vuelta número 4, pero cuando llegamos al espacio entre la flor 4 y cinco vamos a tejer una disminución de 3 puntos altos y continuamos con el mismo proceso de la vuelta 4 normal.

    Para ir finalizando realizamos un punto bajo por todo el contorno escondiendo de una vez todas las hebras que teníamos sueltas. Ahora vamos a tejer las asas, para eso tejemos de 30 a 35 cadenetas, todo depende del tamaño de nuestra cara, entonces tejemos puntos bajos en cada una de las cadenetas para darle más firmeza y agarre; por ultimo tejemos en la parte posterior unas tiras para que podamos sujetar el trozo de tela que reforzara la seguridad y el cuidado de nuestro cuerpo.

We repeat from here on the same process until we have the desired size, in my case I have knitted 4 rounds of flower. Now to finish we take beige yarn and we weave as follows. We knit a chain and 7 low stitches, then 3 half stitches, we take yarn and repeat the same process of the round number 4, but when we reach the space between the flower 4 and five we are going to knit a decrease of 3 high stitches and continue with the same process of the normal round 4.

To finish we knit a single crochet all the way around, hiding all the strands that we had loose. Now we are going to knit the handles, for that we knit 30 to 35 chain stitches, it all depends on the size of our face, then we knit low stitches in each of the chain stitches to give it more firmness and grip; finally we knit in the back some strips so that we can hold the piece of fabric that will reinforce the security and care of our body.
