Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles cómo realicé este nuevo modelo de posavasos. Me pareció muy lindo y divertido realizarlo. Siempre ando buscando algo que hacer con algunos pocos de hilos que me van quedando. De este modelo he realizado dos y créanme que se ven bien lindos. Ahora déjenme explicarles con más detalles.

Hello friends, I hope you are very well. Today I want to show you how I made this new coaster model. I thought it was really cute and fun to make. I am always looking for something to do with a few threads that I have left over. I have made two of this model and believe me they look very nice. Now let me explain in more detail.

• Hilos pabilos marrón, verde y rosado.
• Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
• Guata para rellenar.
• Aguja lanera.

• Empecé tejiendo el cuerpo o caparazón. Inicié con 12 puntos altos dentro de un anillo mágico. Luego tejí 12 aumentos de puntos altos. En la siguiente tejí 1punto alto y 1aumento. Finalicé con una vuelta de 2puntos altos y 1 aumento.

• I started by knitting the body or shell. I started with 12 double crochet stitches inside a magic ring. Then I knit 12 increases of double crochet. In the next row I knit 1 double crochet and 1 increase. I finished with a round of 2 double crochet and 1 increase.

• Con el hilo color verde tejí la cabeza. Inicié con 6pb en un anillo mágico. Enseguida tejí 6aumentos de pb. Luego una vuelta de 1pb-1aum. Después tejí tres vueltas de solo puntos bajos. Luego empecé con las disminuciones desde 1pb-1dism hasta cerrar completamente la cabeza. Antes de cerrar coloqué un poquito de algodón (guata)
• Al finalizar dejé la hebra larga y uní la cabeza al cuerpo utilizando la aguja lanera. Se cose la cabeza en un extremo, a la orilla del cuerpo de la tortuguita.

• With the green yarn I knit the head. I started with 6 sts in a magic ring. Then I knit 6 bp increases. Then a round of 1pb-1aum. Then I knit three rows of single crochet. Then I started with decreases from 1pb-1dism until the head was completely closed. Before closing I placed a little bit of cotton (wadding).
• At the end I left the long strand and joined the head to the body using the wool needle. The head is sewn at one end, at the edge of the turtle's body.

• Para hacer las patas usé el hilo color verde. Cada pata se inicia con 8cadenas, luego delvolviéndome tejí 1pb-6pma (puntos medios altos)
• Para la cola seguí el mismo patrón, pero la cadena la hice de 5puntos.
• Como pueden ver, dejé una separación entre las dos patas de la derecha y las dos patas de la izquierda. Dieron cinco puntos de separación entre pata y pata. Y la cola la tejí lineal a la posición de la cabeza.

• To make the legs I used the green colored yarn. Each can starts with 8 chains, then I knitted 1pb-6pma (medium high stitches).
• For the tail I followed the same pattern, but I made the chain of 5 stitches.
• As you can see, I left a separation between the two legs on the right and the two legs on the left. It gave five stitches of separation between leg and leg. And the tail I knitted it linear to the position of the head.

• Con el hilo rosado y la aguja lanera bordé una florecita en la cabeza de la tortuguita. Se ve bien linda.

• With the pink thread and the wool needle I embroidered a little flower on the head of the turtle. It looks very pretty.

Este fue un día de tejido totalmente diferente ya que todo lo hice en casa de mi hermana @linita, ella preparó un delicioso 😋 pasticho y nos invitó a comer. Así que me fui desde el medio día a compartir con ellos, pero también me llevé los hilos. Me encantó tejer allí nuevamente, además mi hermana se animó y empezó a realizar un pedido de dibujo que le hicieron. A tiempo llego mi sobrina quien también fue invitada al almuerzo. A ella le regalé la tortuguita que tejí. ¡Y le encantó! Se la entregué como regalo adelantado por su cumpleaños que es este mes.

This was a totally different knitting day as I did everything at my sister @linita's house, she prepared a delicious 😋 pasticho and invited us for lunch. So I went from noon to share with them, but I also took the yarns with me. I loved knitting there again, plus my sister was encouraged and started to make a drawing order that was made for her. In time my niece arrived and was also invited to lunch. I gave her the turtle I knitted and she loved it! I gave it to her as an early present for her birthday, which is this month.
