Nuevo diseño de Hello Kitty, reto superado. 😺 New Hello Kitty design, challenge overcome.

Hola amigos, feliz semana para todos. En muchos aspectos la vida nos presenta retos, unos más difíciles que otros. Así mismo pasa en el tejido. Yo he realizado muchísimos proyectos utilizando la figura de la Hello Kitty, es que me gusta mucho y no voy a negarlo, sin embargo, reconozco y confieso que siempre recurro a patrones muy básicos o yo misma los creo.

Esta vez me propuse salir de esa zona de confort y elegí tejer la figura de la Hello Kitty visualizando el gráfico en una imagen que recibí, no sé en qué idioma está la leyenda, pero solo usé como guía la simbolización universal del crochet.

Hello friends, happy week to all. In many ways life presents us with challenges, some more difficult than others. The same happens in knitting. I have made many projects using the Hello Kitty figure, I really like it and I will not deny it, however, I recognize and confess that I always resort to very basic patterns or I create them myself.

This time I decided to get out of that comfort zone and I chose to knit the Hello Kitty figure visualizing the graphic in an image I received, I don't know what language the legend is in, but I only used the universal symbolization of crochet as a guide.

La verdad es que me gustó mucho la experiencia de poder tejer algo que en un momento ví como muy complicado. Generalmente este tipo de tejidos en los que no se empieza de forma circular sino ovalada y que además lleva detalles muy específicos, se tejen diversidad de puntos. Antes había visto diferentes patrones, como les mencioné, pero no me había atrevido a tejerlos.

Con mucha calma y paciencia inicié, visualizando con detalle cada puntada. No fue tan difícil como lo imaginé y el resultado final me gustó mucho, ahora sé que puedo sacar nuevamente esa figura tantas veces la necesite. Ahora sí podré hacer más proyectos de este personaje utilizando este diseño como aplique. Lo más seguro es que pronto les comparta un proyecto nuevo en el que agregue esta bella carita de Hello Kitty tejida.

The truth is that I really liked the experience of being able to knit something that at first I saw as very complicated. Generally this type of fabrics in which you don't start in a circular but in an oval shape and that also have very specific details, you knit a diversity of stitches. Before I had seen different patterns, as I mentioned, but I had not dared to knit them.

With a lot of calm and patience I started, visualizing each stitch in detail. It wasn't as difficult as I imagined and I really liked the final result, now I know that I can make that figure again as many times as I need it. Now I will be able to make more projects of this character using this design as applique. Most likely I will soon share a new project in which I will add this beautiful knitted Hello Kitty face.

Este es un diseño para aplique de Hello Kitty bien elaborado, desde que se inicia hasta que se termina debí estar atenta de cada puntada. En las primeras vueltas tejí con puntos altos, sin embargo ya cuando comencé a tejer lo que son las orejas debí combinar puntos medios altos, puntos altos y puntos altos dobles. Es increíble como esta secuencia de puntos pudo originar en dar forma casi perfecta a las orejitas del Hello Kitty. La verdad es que me gusta mucho este patrón. Hay que atreverse e imponerse nuevos retos de vez en cuando.

This is a well elaborated Hello Kitty applique design, from the beginning to the end I had to pay attention to every stitch. In the first rounds I knitted with double crochet, but when I started to knit the ears I had to combine medium high stitches, high stitches and double high stitches. It is incredible how this sequence of stitches could originate in giving almost perfect shape to the Hello Kitty's ears. The truth is that I really like this pattern. You have to dare and set yourself new challenges from time to time.
