Hola amigos de esta linda comunidad, espero que estén muy bien. El día de hoy quiero compartirles una linda experiencia que viví y por la cual estoy muy contenta. Ver realizado nuestros sueños siempre será motivación de celebración 🥳 y como yo no sé contener mis emociones ya mismo les voy a contar.

Hace unos días les publiqué un encuentro entre amigas que tuvimos @linita, @katiuskamata y yo. En ese primer encuentro confirmamos la realización de algunas actividades que teníamos planificadas desde que la amiga Wendy llegó a Monagas. Gracias a Dios las tres hemos podido organizarnos para hacer posibles nuestros planes.

Hello friends of this beautiful community, I hope you are very well. Today I want to share with you a beautiful experience that I lived and for which I am very happy. Seeing our dreams come true will always be motivation to celebrate 🥳 and since I don't know how to contain my emotions, I'm going to tell you about it right now.

A few days ago I published a meeting between friends that @linita, @katiuskamata and I had. In that first meeting we confirmed the realization of some activities that we had planned since Wendy arrived in Monagas. Thank God the three of us have been able to organize ourselves to make our plans possible.

En ese primer encuentro luego de conocernos un poco más y charlar amenamente yo les entregué formalmente la invitación a lo que sería EL MINI TALLER DE TEJIDO A CROCHET el cual me corresponde facilitarlo 🙋🏾‍♀️ aproveché de dárselo a cada una acompañado de un delicioso dulce o merienda. Previamente les había compartido vía WhatsApp la lista de materiales que necesitaríamos para ejecutar el proyecto.

In that first meeting after getting to know each other a little more and chatting pleasantly I formally gave them the invitation to what would be THE MINI CROCHET KNITTING WORKSHOP which I facilitated 🙋🏾‍♀️ I took the opportunity to give it to each of them accompanied by a delicious sweet or snack. Previously I had shared with them via WhatsApp the list of materials we would need to execute the project.

Las amigas estuvieron muy impresionadas porque el mini taller trata de realizar un proyecto aplicando técnicas que ella aún no ponen en práctica. En ese momento aproveché también de darles algunas recomendaciones y aclarar dudas. Además fijamos las fechas tentativas para realizar dicho taller. Para este momento ya el taller lo hemos realizado y vengo a darte un resumen. ¡Que lo disfrutes!

The friends were very impressed because the mini-workshop is about making a project applying techniques that they have not yet put into practice. At that moment I also took the opportunity to give them some recommendations and clarify doubts. We also set the tentative dates for the workshop. By now we have already done the workshop and I am here to give you a summary, enjoy it!

MINI TALLER DE TEJIDO: TÉCNICAS AMIGURUMI Y TAPESTRY. ENCUENTRO ENTRE AMIGAS. PARTE II.

MINI KNITTING WORKSHOP: AMIGURUMI AND TAPESTRY TECHNIQUES. MEETING BETWEEN FRIENDS. PART II.

Yo me desperté muy contenta este día ya que al fin uno de mis sueños iba a hacerse realidad, tejer con un grupo de amigas siempre me ha parecido un momento especial. Hace poquito sentí la misma emoción cuando mi mamá tomó de nuevo el ganchillo y quiso volver a tejer carpetas o tapetes. La verdad es que compartir con otras tejedoras es una experiencia única.
En realidad todo esto comenzó porque @katiuskamata nos motivó a hacer manualidades juntas. Le tomamos la palabra y este fue nuestro primer encuentro. Empezamos degustando de un delicioso 😋 desayuno. Bendiciendo este momento y agradeciéndonos estar ahí.

I woke up very happy this day because at last one of my dreams was going to come true, knitting with a group of friends has always been a special moment for me. A little while ago I felt the same emotion when my mom picked up the crochet hook again and wanted to knit folders or rugs again. The truth is that sharing with other knitters is a unique experience.
Actually this all started because @katiuskamata motivated us to make crafts together. We took her at her word and this was our first meeting. We started by tasting a delicious 😋 breakfast. Blessing this moment and thanking us for being there.

Una hora y media después de haber llegado al parque inició nuestro taller. Cada una sacó de sus bolsos todos los materiales, incluído el patrón escrito que ya les había entregado previamente. Repasamos teóricamente algunos puntos y listo, arrancamos a tejer.

An hour and a half after arriving at the park, our workshop began. Each one took out all the materials from their bags, including the written pattern that I had previously given them. We reviewed some stitches theoretically and ready, we started knitting.

Una niña pasó cerca de nosotras y le pedimos que nos tomara unas fotos. Aquí todavía no estábamos tan relajadas 🤭

A little girl passed by us and we asked her to take some pictures of us. Here we were still not so relaxed 🤭

@linita se puso muy cómoda y más atrás nosotras le seguimos el paso. Entre risas e hilos dimos rienda suelta a la creatividad, a pesar de estar siguiendo un patrón cada uno de los Amigurumis tiene su toque especial y único. Unas usamos hilos acrílicos y otra hilos pabilos. Dos tejimos casi a la misma velocidad, otra fue a su mejor ritmo. Lo importante de esta experiencia fue el compartir de saberes y técnicas del tejido a crochet. Me encantó dirigirlas en esta creación porque además ambas son excelentes participantes, todo lo captaron súper rápido.

@linita got very comfortable and further back we followed in her footsteps. Between laughter and yarns we gave free rein to creativity, even though we were following a pattern, each one of the Amigurumis has its own special and unique touch. Some of us used acrylic yarns and others wick yarns. Two of us knitted almost at the same speed, another one went at her own pace. The important part of this experience was the sharing of knowledge and techniques of crochet knitting. I loved directing them in this creation because they are both excellent participants, they grasped everything super fast.

Este mini taller se basó en guiar a las participantes en la iniciación en Amigurumi empleando la técnica llamada tapestry. En realidad esta técnica fue la que más les llamó la atención. Una tenía conocimientos básicos y ya había tejido Amigurumis, pero la otra se enfrentó por primera vez a todo y se sentía bastante emocionada. Ustedes amigos tejedores saben que el tapestry es una técnica que amerita destreza con el manejo de los hilos y mucha concentración. A pesar de que hablábamos mucho mientras tejíamos el proyecto se fue dando de manera fluida.

This mini workshop was based on guiding the participants in the initiation in Amigurumi using the technique called tapestry. In fact, this technique was the one that caught their attention the most. One had basic knowledge and had already knitted Amigurumis, but the other one faced everything for the first time and was quite excited. You knitting friends know that tapestry is a technique that requires dexterity with the yarn and a lot of concentration. Even though we talked a lot while we were weaving, the project went smoothly.

El tiempo estimado para la realización de este taller era de cuatro horas. El objetivo final era lograr tejer todo el Amigurumi. Ambos propósitos fueron alcanzados, aunque les confieso que nos tardamos un poco más.

The estimated time for this workshop was four hours. The final goal was to knit the whole Amigurumi. Both goals were achieved, although I confess that it took us a little longer.
