Saludos querida comunidad, muchas personas dicen que no hay nada imposible para una crochetera, yo no creo que sea totalmente cierto, pero si estoy segura que se pueden hacer muchas mas cosas de las que pensamos, sin embargo a veces dudamos un poco de nuestras capacidades pero al final del día la mejor satisfacción es poder resolver todos esos problemas y superar todos los retos que se nos presentan en el trabajo con agujas, en este mismo orden de ideas hace unos días me escribió un cliente preguntándome si no podía hacer el logo de un negocio a crochet, me lo envió como imagen y era un logo de formato circular, con figuras con colores planos y letras sencillas, luego de pensar un rato la mejor manera de abordar el proyecto le dije que aceptaba el encargo.

Greetings, dear community. Many people say that nothing is impossible for a crocheter. I don't believe that's entirely true, but I am sure that we can do much more than we think. However, sometimes we doubt our abilities, but at the end of the day, the greatest satisfaction is being able to solve all those problems and overcome all the challenges that come our way when working with needles. Along these same lines, a few days ago a client wrote to me asking if I could crochet a logo for a business. He sent it to me as an image, and it was a circular logo with figures in flat colors and simple lettering. After thinking for a while about the best way to approach the project, I told him I accepted the commission.

Proceso / Process

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar el logo en una hoja de papel, de ese modo pude determinar las medidas de cada elemento de la imagen para que tuvieran las proporciones correctas, a partir de allí hice las figuras con hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 1.25mm, primero la botella y su etiqueta, luego la sandía, el pan y la lechuga, la cesta y su tirante, trabajando en plano, es decir para que se pudieran ver bidimensional.

The first thing I did was draw the logo on a sheet of paper. This allowed me to determine the measurements of each element of the image so that they would have the correct proportions. From there, I made the figures with acrylic yarn and a 1.25mm crochet hook. First, the bottle and its label, then the watermelon, the bread and the lettuce, the basket and its strap, working flat, so that they could be seen in two dimensions.

Luego con hilo rosado claro hice el círculo base del logo, sobre el cual cosí cada una de las figuras superpuestas en el orden de la imagen y bordé los detalles.

Then with light pink thread I made the base circle of the logo, on which I sewed each of the overlapping figures in the order of the image and embroidered the details.

Luego bordé el nombre del negocio, hice otro circulo igual, a cada circulo hice dos hileras adiciones de puntos bajos para que quedaran con espacio para el relleno, luego uní las piezas con una hilera de puntos bajos de color beige y rellené antes de cerrar, por ultimo coloqué la argolla para el llavero.

Then I embroidered the business name, made another identical circle, added two rows of single crochet stitches to each circle to create space for stuffing, then joined the pieces with a row of beige single crochet stitches and stuffed before closing, finally attaching the keyring.

Resultado / Result

Me encantó trabajar en este proyecto, la apariencia parece de un mini cojín con el logo del negocio, hoy vinieron a buscarlo y el cliente quedó muy satisfecho con el resultado, espero que otras personas se animen a encargarme sus logos de negocios a crochet 😊

I loved working on this project; it looks like a mini cushion with the business logo. The client came to pick it up today and was very happy with the result. I hope others will be encouraged to order their crocheted business logos from me 😊
