MWM|| Cartera tipo cesta (Primer intento)

Greetings my beautiful and creative NeedleWorkMonday people. Today I come to tell you what is happening with the project I have in progress this week. A project that has taken me a long time, it has given me a struggle, but I'm really looking forward to finish it and achieve a good final result.

To begin with, a few weeks ago I started with the idea of knitting a basket purse to give as a birthday present to one of my sisters. This type of wallet has always caught my attention, but until now I had not been able to weave one. When I was looking for ideas for my sister's gift, I found the image of this wallet saved on my Pinterest boards, so I thought it was the perfect occasion to carry out this project.

I started the project with great enthusiasm weeks in advance, however there have been several problems with the material that have delayed the project. The color chosen was a very nice turquoise tone, I already had a 100 grams bovine of this color, but as I knew it was not enough, I decided to order another bovine. I began to weave a synthetic cord inside the weave to give structure and a basket shape to the purse.

The first problem that arose was that the synthetic cord I had was not enough and I ran out very soon. I went out to buy more cord, but I couldn't find any of the same thickness I was using, so I had to buy cotton cord. When I tried to continue the weaving I realized that it didn't work well to mix these two different materials, so I unknitted, for the first time, everything I had done and started all the work with the new cord.

El segundo inconveniente que se me presentó fue que la segunda bovina de hilo que pedí, me la enviaron en un tono más oscuro. Tuve que hacer una devolución y esperar una semana más a que me llegara el hilo correspondiente. Finalmente logré continuar mi tejido, pero hoy me di cuenta que el color blanco del cordón interno se nota mucho en el tejido. Así que decidí destejer todo, por segunda vez, e iniciar todo el tejido a dos hebras para que no se vea el cordón del centro. Así que volvemos a empezar con este desafío, el reto es tenerla lista para el sábado y que quedé hermosa como me la imagino.

The second inconvenience I encountered was that the second bovine yarn I ordered was sent to me in a darker shade. I had to make a return and wait another week for the corresponding yarn to arrive. I finally managed to continue my knitting, but today I noticed that the white color of the internal the white color of the inner cord is very noticeable in the fabric. So I decided to unknit everything, for the second time, and start the whole knitting at two strands so that the center cord does not show through. So we start again with this challenge, the challenge is to have it ready for Saturday and have it as beautiful as I imagine it to be.
