Greetings creative friends of this wonderful community. Today I share with you how I restored an old cushion that has about 15 years with us and that was already giving me a lot of work because as it was torn the stuffing was coming out and I had to sweep many times a day so I took some old pants and I cut the boot to make a new lining and I made a new one since I don't have a baking machine.
the materials I used were:
- pants
- scissors
- son
- needles
I started by cutting the boots of each pair of pants, then I cut them and divided them in 4 to make a set of colors and make them more colorful.
los materiales que utilice fueron:
- Pantalón
- tijera
- hijo
- agujas
then I cut out some hearts and sewed them superficially with red thread to give it color and a nice detail, and that's it, I made my handmade lining to recycle this cushion that has been with us for many years.
Hello @lunaturqueza! Welcome to the NeedleWorkMonday Community!
This is a nice restoration of your old cushion. Definitely a great way to use up some old jeans. We love seeing upcycled projects here ;)
Every week needleworkers from around the globe get together to share our work, patterns, tips, ideas and shortcuts as we support one another. Our goal is to inspire the Hive blockchain to give crafting a try.
On Monday’s we use the #needleworkmonday tag and on all other days we use the #needlework tag without the word Monday attached. We share and post our work directly from the Community page.
We encourage our members to share the process of their work through photos (as you have already done). This not only validates your work but it takes us along the creative journey with you :)
