Good day creative hiver, how are you doing and how is our families I hope we are enjoying the end of the year celebration I’m happy to see this day.
Today I will like to share with you all this beautiful gown I made for my mummy for her new year gown . I thought of sewing Ankara fabric for but the cost of Ankara is very high so I had to buy this vintage material and the cost is still expensive but not to much .
I bought 2 and half trousers yard of material and I bought 1 trouser yard of satin and I choose this style for because the weather is cold.
Cutting step
I folded the material into four then I measure the neckline to be 3” width and 6” length then I slit the front piece and I took out 2” out from the from piece then replaced it with the satin .
After cutting the bodices I folded the remaining material for the sleeve , this style is a trending style that it going viral now and this is my first time of sewing it and with the look I think have made mistake in the bell sleeve but I know I will get perfect in another one I will made for my self.
Sewing step
.
I join the both side together then I place the satin from the back neckline after ironing it but I it doesn’t look neat and straight the way I want it to be . Have take note of my mistake I will try to get it right in my next attempt.
Finishing
Even with my little mistake the gown still came out beautiful and my mother love it when she try it on .

I'm sure the next one will be better, I really didn't notice the mistake you mentioned, but it happens a lot that only one person sees the mistake, happy new year, I loved the fabric :3
