Been creative amidst stress and sweat

Hello family.

Happy New Monday to us. It feels like Monday is often our feast day on hive and in thesame way people celebrate carnival and talent exhibition Mondays is basically our talents and creative day.

It's a beautiful thing that if your are highly expectant to see creative arts and talents on display Monday is the best day and #needleworkmonday is just the right place to be delight your eyes with beautiful arts and crafts.

I have already hinted the community two days ago about this traditional party dress I was making for my sister. Even though it wasn't convenient due to other activities I was engaged in. Having spared the time to cut and sew the main bodice I was short on what to do about the sleeve.

My sister is someone that loves to make this expensive appearance. She believes in looking good and confident in whatever she wears, so it's really a big hard to just make her outfits. You really have to think outside the box and engage all the creativity in you.

Well I think she is right. As making such an attractive entrance to parties often end up drawing more of people's attention to my sewing. And it's often possible for me to get a sewing contract from there too.

Having left the dress to attend to other activities around my mind has been thinking of several ideas. The funniest part is that once I get a good idea and don't hurry up to either sketch and record it down, that idea flies away like smoke and whenever I come back to the dress I feel creatively blank on what to do.

That has been the stressful ordeal I had to endure until I eventually spared time to work with the next idea that pops up in my head.

I had cut some flair hair, multiple times the size of her sleeve circumference.

Cutting the lining which I will be using to turn the sleeve in that very same manner.

Then I took some crinoline and sewed them in between the flair and the lining.

It was time to fix this on the dress and this was where my sweats started. Having cut the mains fitted sleeve, attaching the flair became a problem.

I wanted it to give me certain effects that was not forth coming and you all know how it feels when you do something and it doesn't look right. I was frustrated stitching and loosening the stitches over and over again.

Eventually I had no other option but to search the internet on how best to sew in a crinoline to give me that standard effects I desired.
The puzzled was solved after watching a few video and I was quit satisfied and happy they the internet can be that useful and would have saved me a lot of time and the stress and sweats of before time.

You can't imagine how something's as small as sewing a sleeve can take so much time, I had to exercise patience to get it done rightly and in a way that it can be attractive at least. It is not often easy to start an outfit and finish it in one day for most sewing projects, we have to work through single bits of it until we get it done eventually. That is just how stressful can be

The beautiful end results of often comforting, after I got it done and sent her a picture for any observations before I get to deliver her dress tomorrow, my sis was excited and satisfied with what I have sewn and in few days time you will come watch us partying and celebrating our new school graduate.

Thank you for dropping by my blog, I appreciate every comments and engagements here.
