Then I got excited to make a very colorful 🌻 sunflower, in 3D and granny square, to go enlarging every day my collection of flowers, especially sunflowers 🌻🌻🌻🌻. I'm going to detail the process.
Es un placer estar nuevamente este lunes, aunque un poco tarde, por problemas ajenos a mi voluntad. Abril, el inicio de la primavera. Me llegó una notificación de YouTube. Entonces me entusiasmé a hacer un girasol 🌻 muy vistoso, en 3D y granny square, para ir agrandando cada día mi colección de flores, en especial los girasoles 🌻🌻🌻. Paso a detallar el proceso.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Yellow, green, brown, brown, white, and ecru wick yarn.
- Crochet needle No. 2.
- Wool needle.
- Hilo pabilo color amarillo, verde, marrón, blanco y crudo.
- Aguja crochet N.º 2.
- Aguja lanera.

mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.

Process//Proceso:
Dark brown.
- v1: Make magic ring, in the 3 chs, 15 pa, close and pr.
- v2: Make a ch, take loop and pass through each pa, for a 3D effect of the center part using the mp in each pa, pr.
Yellow color.
- v3: Insert the yellow yarn. In the upper edge of the brown part. We make 7 chs, return mp, 5 mpa, in each stitch until reaching with pr, return to make 7 chs, repeat sequence until obtaining 16 petals.
- v4: In each petal we will make mp, 5 mpa,2 mp, 2 chs, 2 mp, 2 mp, 5 mp, mp, pr.
- v5 Repeat v4 until all 16 petals are covered, pr.
Ecru.
- v1: On the back we will insert the ecru color, making 7 chs, every 4 petals, pr.
- v2, v3, v4,v5: Make 7 sts, in the corners increase (2 sts, 2 chs, 2 sts), repeat sequence of 7 sts, each side.
- v6, v7,v8:Repeat v5, skipping one space, and in each corner increase chs between pa.
Dark green color.
- v9: We make some embroidered leaves.
- v10,v11: Make mp in the whole round green color and another one in white.
Color marrón oscuro.
- v1: Hacer anillo mágico, en el 3 chs, 15 pa, cerrar y pr.
- v2: Hacer una ch, tomar lazada y pasarla por cada pa, para un efecto en 3D de la parte central utilizando el mp en cada pa, pr.
Color amarillo.
- v3: Insertar el hilo color amarillo. En la orilla superior de la parte marrón. Hacemos 7 chs, devolver mp, 5 mpa, en cada punto hasta llegar con pr, volver hacer 7 chs, repetir secuencia hasta obtener 16 pétalos.
- v4: En cada pétalo vamos a hacer mp, 5 mpa,2 mp, 2 chs, 2 mp, 5 mp, mp, pr.
- v5 Repetir la v4 hasta los cubrir los 16 pétalos, pr.
Color Crudo.
- v1: Por la parte de atrás vamos a insertar el color crudo, haciendo 7 chs, cada 4 pétalos, pr.
- v2, v3, v4,v5: Hacer 7 pa, en las esquinas aum (2 pa, 2 ch, 2 pa), repetir secuencia de 7 pa, por cada lado.
- v6, v7,v8:Repetir las v5, saltando un espacio, y en cada esquina se aumenta las chs entre los pa.
Color verde oscuro.
- v9: Hacemos unas hojas bordadas.
- v10,v11: Hacer mp en toda la vuelta color verde y otra en blanco.

But soon I will buy it and when it is ready I will show it to you. This one has some leaves around the square in a very particular embroidery shape.

Me alegra mucho haber logrado hacer esta flor que gira con el sol. Sé que a muchos artesanos de esta comunidad les encanta esta belleza que en muchos jardines adorna.
En esta oportunidad es un granny square de 15 x15 cm, de tamaño ideal para un mini bolso, haciendo dos cuadrados, pero no lo pude hacer completo porque se me acabó el hilo color crudo. Pero pronto lo compraré y cuando este listo se lo mostraré. Este tiene unas hojitas alrededor del cuadrado en forma de bordado muy particular.

Tips for the flower to be more fixed.

Este diseño puede ser usado en cojines, manteles, tapetes, bolsos, mini bolso o un monedero agregando mas vueltas para unos casos, o disminuyendo vueltas para mas chico. Para luego ser obsequiado a un ser querido o como mercancía para la venta, por ser un motivo vistoso, sencillo y a la vez majestuoso si es en 3 D.
Tips para que la flor este más fija.
- Con hilo color amarillo, se hacen puntadas en cada pétalo en su parte superior. Así se garantiza que los pétalos estarán fijos, cumpliendo con el efecto tridimensional.
También es significativo el uso del hilo pabilo, me encanta hacer esta labor por la rusticidad de él, me fascina el efecto que proporciona.Con este granny square y el girasol en 3D sumo otra flor a mi colección
