First I was watching videos to know what kind of yarn to buy, I ended up choosing the mercerized cotton as it was the best in price, that same day I started with the knitting quite excited.

I made approximately 28 chains, in each one I made a double crochet, I decided to use this stitch in the knitting of the swimsuit since the process would be faster. From round 6 onwards I implemented increases at each end of the knitting, following the pattern 1inc per corner, 2inc per corner, 3inc per corner to move faster, I was also interspersing rounds without increases.
The back part took me the longest time, as I wanted it to be quite closed, when I finished it I started with the front part, starting to knit from the beginning of the back part, this was smaller and therefore I finished it much faster.

Then I made the openings where the strips would go, with 3 chains and every 3 stitches I inserted the hook to create the spaces, for the strips I made a little more than 200 chains with a round of double crochet.
Even though it took me a long time to make it, the lower part was easier than the upper part. For the upper part I made 28 chains, then 3 more that would make a dc and the whole first row was dc, at the end I made 4 dc (2dc-chain-2dc) the same in the other corner to complete the row, in the next one instead of making 4dc I made three chains that I inserted in the center chain of both dc, and so on until I finished 9 rows.

I made 3 strips (2 of 200 chains, 1 of 320) with their respective rounds of double crochet. I had to change the design, adding a few extra stitches in the corners since I had to join both triangles, as the first result was not flattering hehe.
As in the lower one, I made the spaces to put the thread, and sewed it directly on the upper part of the triangles. For more security I added a fabric lining and when the bikini itself was ready, I added an extra.

I made a mini beach skirt, so that it would be part of the swimsuit and give a little more protection. I started by making 5 chains, then 5 chains and inserted in the third stitch, then repeated and inserted in the last stitch, for the next rounds I started by making 7 chains, inserting in 1 space and making the increases in the last space.
It was a little bit tiring to do due to the hazing I did, because of making so many increases the panty looked bad and I understood that I shouldn't increase so much, I did the bust stitches wrong and it looked weird, by the way that at the end I ended up with a weird little bag, that I didn't understand why if I followed the tutorial well, but well, little things that happen, at least I know how to fix it.

I premiered my bikini in an outing with friends, obviously I took several pictures and they told me that it looked great. I confess I was scared because the night before I had several videos of crocheters saying that their first bikini had ended up sucked by the ocean, my reaction reading everything was like😰😭 I was praying to finish the evening with my bikini in one piece, luckily it was like that🙏✨.
