RE: Still sewing my first garment collection

It's all a learning process, isn't it @neumannsalva? I am attempting to organize my projects so that I can be a little more methodical on what I am working on (and I can find what I need when I need it). Thanks for sharing your creative journey! It's NEVER boring and if we keep our sense of humor it can be fun as well.

Oh GOOOOOOOOD 😱 don't read my actual blogpost 🤣 I just now threw away every method and discipline… I have casted on so many new projects it was like an addiction :-DDDD (I think the reason was procrastination and headaches)
I hope my post is not contagious (the new one) and will thwart your better order (i am joking). But I would be interest how you are sorting your projects and supplies, will you perhaps write about it?

Organization is such a difficult topic to discuss, especially for an artist. If I had boat loads of money I would have the most gorgeous and organized house, but I don't. I have always had to "make do" with whatever is around, which is probably the issue for most. That said, I am currently putting a protective coating on what we call the "extra room" where a lot of work and storage will take place. It is a MESS right now. We have a small old farmhouse that had rooms built onto it over the years. The "extra room" is over the garage and cannot be heated in the winter. It sometimes has mice which means I need to have everything secure in plastic totes if I want to keep them out of my supplies.

I appreciate your interest in my mess I just don't know if I am brave enough to show the process. :-)
