Let's make a love bookmark!

It's another amazing week, I felt thrilled when the week started cause I believe this is gonna be one of the most incredible weeks I'm ever gonna experience, hope you feel the same way!!!

I don't know if I'm the only one who is tired of this experience, imagine reading a book and something else comes up that needs your attention then I'd fold that particular page for quick access to continue reading.

To avoid folding all the pages of my book, I decided to make a bookmark that would enable me to identify the particular page I was reading before attending to other things. What's a bookmark? It is a placeholder that allows me to easily return to where my previous reading ended without searching for it.

Materials used
Yarns
Scissors
Crochet needle

Procedures involved in making this bookmark

Step one: I started by making a slip-knot, then I went further in making a chain of forty-four.

Step two: I skipped the first stitch and made a single crochet into the second, I went further by skipping the next three stitches and inserting my hook into the fourth and made two-treble crochet and a chain of two and another two-treble crochet then I ended by making another chain of two then I ended by making a slip stitch.

Step three: I repeated the same process till it got to the very last stitch then I made a slip stitch to join the edges.

Step four: For the second side of the chains, I slip stitch into the first chain then I skipped the first three stitches and inserted my hook into the fourth and made two double crochet, a chain one and one treble crochet then another chain and two double crochet inside the same stitch then I made a slip stitch.

Step five: I repeated this same process till I got to the last stitch then I made a slip stitch to join the edges again and I was done. Lastly, I rolled the yarns in my fingers till I got to ten then I removed my finger and tied the yarns I just rolled to the bookmark and cut out the edges and it came out looking like this.

Thanks for reading🌹.

This is a great idea to have a personalized ornament for our books, congratulations ❣️.

On the other hand, to make your post even more valuable, you could check that the photos do not have unwanted shadows or are blurry. This will make the blog more beautiful.

I send you greetings, have a good day 🙂.

Thank you so much!!!

This is really useful and add some color to the book too. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, it does right!!! Thank you

This is really nice. Anything heart shaped is always great in the end. I love how subtle the color is. Great job.

Thank you dear!!!
