Greetings friends of the community. Today I want to share with you a craft that, apart from being an ornament, can become something useful. I am sure that at some point we have all lost a keychain or simply put it somewhere and forgot about it. If so, you are in luck. Well, this time I bring you a craft with which you can keep your key chains organized.

The craft is made of cardboard and decorated with fomi. The materials are recycled and anyone can make their own, since the techniques used are very simple. So if you want to have a beautiful key holder to organize your keys, I invite you to watch the following tutorial.

Saludos amigos de la comunidad. El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una manualidad que, aparte de ser un adorno, puede llegar a ser algo útil. Estoy seguro de que a todos en algún momento se nos ha extraviado algún llavero o simplemente lo colocamos en algún lugar y lo olvidamos. Si es así, pues estás de suerte. En esta ocasión les traigo una manualidad con la cual podrán tener organizados sus llaveros.

La manualidad está elaborada en cartón y decorada con fomi. Los materiales son reciclados y cualquiera puede hacer la suya propia, ya que las técnicas utilizadas son muy sencillas. Así que si quieres tener un hermoso porta llaves para organizar tus llaves, te invito a ver el siguiente tutorial.

1️⃣ The first thing to do is to draw a square and a triangle on top, which when cut out will give the silhouette of a house. To the silhouette of the house will be glued small squares of embossed cardboard, which are obtained by removing one side of a piece of cardboard. The entire surface of the silhouette should not be covered, since it is necessary to leave space for a window (measurements in the video).

Lo primero será dibujar un cuadrado y un triángulo encima, los cuales al recortarlos darán la silueta de una casa. A la silueta de la casa se le pegarán pequeños cuadrados de cartón con relieve, los cuales se obtienen al retirar una de las caras de una pieza de cartón. Toda la superficie de la silueta no debe ser cubierta, ya que es necesario dejar espacio para una ventana. (Medidas en el video)

2️⃣ Using the same embossed cardboard, the edges, base and roof of the house will be made. The only difference is that the cardboard, instead of squares, will be cut into strips.

Utilizando el mismo cartón con relieve se harán los bordes, la base y el techo de la casa. La única diferencia es que el cartón, en vez de cuadrados, se cortará en tiras.

3️⃣ To make the window, use a rectangle of transparent plastic to which thin strips of white cardboard will be glued to simulate the frames and divisions of the window. Before placing the window, a towelette will be used to make curtains that will be glued underneath the window.

Para elaborar la ventana se utilizará un rectángulo de plástico transparente al cual se le pegarán finas tiras de cartulina blanca para simular los marcos y divisiones de la ventana. Antes de colocar la ventana, se utilizará una toallita con la cual se podrán hacer cortinas que irán pegadas por debajo de la ventana.

4️⃣ After gluing the window, the embossed cardboard will be used to make semicircular frames that will be glued around the window. Afterwards, the roof segment will be painted with caramel-colored paint.

Después de pegar la ventana, se utilizará el cartón con relieve para hacer unos marcos semicirculares que se pegarán alrededor de la ventana. Posteriormente, se pintará el segmento del techo con pintura color caramelo.

5️⃣ Once the structure of the house is ready, the next step is to make the ornamental pieces. To do this, it is necessary to mark in fomi the silhouette of a flower and cut it out. For a change, two shades of pink and a deep red have been used. Then, with the help of a die or by drawing freehand, the silhouettes of the leaves are marked and cut out.

Con la estructura de la casa lista, se procede a elaborar las piezas de adorno. Para ello es necesario marcar en fomi la silueta de una flor y recortarla. Para variar, se han utilizado dos tonos de rosado y un rojo intenso. Seguidamente, con la ayuda de un troquel o dibujando a mano alzada, se marcarán y recortarán las siluetas de las hojas.

6️⃣ The decoration begins with the leaves, which once glued give way to the flowers. Once the flowers are glued in place, cut out small yellow circles to glue them in the center of each flower and then draw orange dots with the help of a marker.

La decoración comienza por las hojas, las cuales una vez pegadas dan paso a las flores. Una vez pegadas las flores en su lugar, se recortarán pequeños círculos amarillos para pegarlos en el centro de cada flor y posteriormente dibujar puntos naranjas con la ayuda de un marcador.

7️⃣ After putting the fomi decoration in place, the base, sides of the house and the window are colored. In this case, a transparent varnish was used to darken the cardboard and give it a wooden look.

Después de colocar la decoración de fomi en su lugar, se procede a dar color a la base, laterales de la casa y la ventana. En este caso, se utilizó un barniz transparente que oscurece el cartón y le da una apariencia de madera.

8️⃣ Finally, the hooks will be made from a thick wire, using a pair of tweezers. The three hooks will be wrapped in a thin strip of caramel-colored fomi and glued to the bottom of the house.

Para finalizar, se realizarán los ganchos a partir de un alambre grueso, auxiliándonos de una pinza. Los tres ganchos se envolverán en una tira fina de fomi color caramelo y se pegarán en la parte inferior de la casa.
