Hola amigos de Hive diy!, el día de hoy les traigo una reparación de unos cascos los cuales tenían problemas de soldadura y batería, hoy usaremos una técnica usando"aceite de palo" o es llamado en otros lugares "resina", el cual es muy usado como medicina, heridas o otros empleos, pero mi uso favorito es en la soldadura, hoy veremos que tal funciona.

Empezamos con nuestras mesa de trabajo y herramientas para proceder con la reparación.

We start with our workbench and tools to proceed with the repair.

Verificamos cual de los dos cascos es el principal, el que tiene los botones en este caso es el cual desarmaremos.

We verify which of the two hulls is the main one, the one with the buttons in this case is the one we will disassemble.

Vamos desarmando cada parte del casco, le quitamos la almohadilla, luego el aro donde va la almohadilla y al final la bocina.

We disassemble each part of the helmet, we remove the padding, then the hoop where the padding goes and finally the horn.

Seguimos desarmando hasta llegar a la placa, y procedemos también a retirarla sacando el tornillo el cual la ancla a la base.

We continue disassembling until we reach the plate, and we also proceed to remove it by removing the screw which anchors it to the base.

Verificamos sus componentes y el fallo.

Tomamos un extremo del cable dañado, y presionamos fuertemente con la pinza para luego derretir el esmalte verde que recubre el cable, solamente la punta, limitando que el fuego pase al resto del cable y se queme.

We take one end of the damaged cable, and press hard with the tweezers to melt the green enamel that covers the cable, only the tip, limiting the fire to pass to the rest of the cable and burn it.

En esta parte hago el ejemplo pero sin la pinza ya que no podia tomar la foto haciendo ambas cosas.

Tomamos un poco de aceite de palo (una gota), con las pinzas, pues este caso no necesitaremos mucho para una pequeña soldadura.

We take a little bit of stick oil (a drop), with the tweezers, because in this case we will not need much for a small soldering.

Colocamos la gota en el extremo del cable que preparamos y situamos el cable en el lugar a soldar.

We place the drop on the end of the wire we prepared and place the wire in the place to be soldered.

Procedemos a soldar.

We proceed to weld.

En este caso se fijo muy bien del punto de soldadura, ya solo nos queda comprobar si esta bien soldado usando el multimetro o algún probador de continuidad (un probador de continuidad nos permite inyectar un poco de corriente en un extremo del cable y verificar si al final del otro extremo del cable pasa corriente y no este dañado y este en buen estado.

In this case it was fixed very well of the welding point, now we only have to check if it is well welded using the multimeter or a continuity tester (a continuity tester allows us to inject a little current at one end of the cable and check if the other end of the cable passes current and is not damaged and is in good condition.

El multimetro nos marca continuidad y que la soldadura esta bien.

The multimeter shows continuity and that the weld is good.

Le colocamos la batería nueva y vemos que enciende, comprobé colocándole un sd y funcione perfectamente.

We put the new battery and we see that it turns on, I checked it by putting a sd and it works perfectly.

Procedemos a colocar la placa en su lugar

We proceed to put the plate in place

Empezamos a cerrar todo adecuadamente y con mucho cuidado.

We start to close everything properly and very carefully.
