Living Things of Northern Vietnam

I recently took a trip up to the province of Nghệ An, in Vienam's northern countryside. Here are some of the living things I encountered while I was there.

Google says this is Drosera (Sundew), and it is a carnivorous plant. In the picture below you can see it eating a bug. This plant looks very cool in person, like some kind of alien species.

Found this little guy crawling around on some hanging laundry.

I found these growing in a park off some buffalo poop. Google says these will either A. give you a tummy ache B. make you trip or C. Kill you ...I didn't test them, as the locals told me they were poison.

Usually the water buffalo are black, but this one is white. He stared deeply into my soul. We are brothers now.

Thank you for sharing! I had no idea you could use Drosera as medicine or I would have picked some. Hopefully I can come across some more soon :)
