Among the peaceful green grass, a small beetle sat sweetly on one of the blades of grass. It looked very calm there, but its eyes were wary. I noticed its antennae were constantly moving, perhaps checking to see if I, who was approaching it, was safe. Judging by its constant antennae movements, it seemed the beetle had encountered someone who frightened it before. Therefore, when I approached, it was wary. I photographed it from a slightly greater distance, not wanting to further frighten it.
The beetle was very small, almost invisible. Luckily, its striking coloration made it easy to spot. Its entire body was orange, with only its eyes and antennae black. When the sunlight reflected off its body, it shimmered beautifully, like a jewel. But upon closer inspection, the beetle seemed like a warm beam of light falling amidst the calming greenery.
