While walking along a path in an area called Jalin, Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia, to observe birds. I found a rather interesting plant from the genus Praxelis. This plant is originally from South America.
The genus Praxelis entered Southeast Asia, allegedly due to seed contamination in imported plants. This species in Sumatra is an invasive species so it is found in many areas.
One of the species of this genus in Sumatra is Praxelis clematidea which has leaves that smell pungent when crushed. The stems are long-haired with oval leaves and flowers in the form of a lump in blue, lilac or light purple and arranged in panicles at the ends of the branches.
How about in your area or in your country, have you found this species? give a comment.
