Small and Fluffy Fal🪶🦅

Hola, queridos amigos de @Holozing! 🌙✨ Antes de comenzar quiero desearles una linda noche llena de tranquilidad y genuino descanso. Me alegra saludarlos y como siempre aprovecho la oportunidad para enviar mis más cordiales saludos a @Acidyo y a todo el talentoso equipo detrás de Holozing. Esta vez, quiero compartirles una experiencia especial que tuve recientemente al comienzo del día de hoy, mientras me encontraba pensando nuevas ideas para traer algo mas a la comunidad esta semana, me crucé con una criatura que no había visto antes, y fue el encantador y esponjoso Fal. Fue un descubrimiento inesperado y lleno de encanto, porque la idea de representarlo nació casi de inmediato. Para describir a Fal, pues me inspiré en su apariencia distintiva la cual es pequeña, esponjosa y suave, y estas fueron las primeras palabras que se me cruzaron por la mente al verlo. Me lo imaginé como una pequeña bola de plumas con un pico diminuto, pequeñas garras que le dan un toque curioso y esos grandes ojos redondos que parecen verlo todo con asombro. Es una criatura que desprende ternura y agilidad al mismo tiempo. Espero que me acompañen en esta aventura y que disfruten del resultado.

This time, I want to share with you a special experience I had recently at the beginning of today, while I was thinking of new ideas to bring something else to the community this week, I came across a creature I had not seen before, and it was the lovely and fluffy Fal. It was an unexpected discovery and full of charm, because the idea to represent him was born almost immediately. To describe Fal, I was inspired by his distinctive appearance which is small, fluffy and soft, and these were the first words that crossed my mind when I saw him. I imagined him as a little ball of feathers with a tiny beak, little claws that give him a curious touch and those big round eyes that seem to look at everything with wonder. It is a creature that exudes tenderness and agility at the same time. I hope you will join me in this adventure and enjoy the result.

Etapas del Dibujo/Drawing Stages

Hoy me puse manos a la obra para realizar este dibujo rápidamente y poder compartirlo con ustedes. Comenzando con trazos ligeros para esbozar la forma general de Fal. Decidí enfocarme en su silueta redonda y adorables detalles, como sus ojos, patitas y pico y así capturar sus rasgos mas prominentes. Eso me conllevo a agregué detalles en las plumas para darle textura y ubicar los relieves y pliegues. Quería que las plumas tuvieran capturada esa idea de esponjosas para ya comenzar con las capas de color y difumino.

Today I got down to work to make this drawing quickly and share it with you. Starting with light strokes to sketch Fal's general shape. I decided to focus on his round silhouette and adorable details, such as his eyes, legs and beak to capture his most prominent features. That led me to add details in the feathers to give texture and to place the reliefs and folds. I wanted the feathers to capture the idea of fluffiness so I could start with the layers of color and blending.

Seleccioné tonos marrones y beish representativos de Fal base para las plumas principales, que contrasté con pequeños detalles de colores de iluminación en el resto del plumaje y así acentuarían los tonos en los ojos para hacerlos resaltar aún más. Utilicé capas adicionales en modo de luz suave y también superposición para añadir sombras suaves, mientras que empleé una capa de luz o brillo para acentuar las áreas brillantes, especialmente en los ojos y el pico. Para terminar, añadí un fondo simple pero envolvente, utilizando colores tenues que complementaran la figura de Fal sin robarle protagonismo usando pinceles de hojas y también texturizados.

I selected brown and beish tones representative of Fal base for the main feathers, which I contrasted with small details of lighting colors in the rest of the plumage to accentuate the tones in the eyes to make them stand out even more. I used additional layers in soft light mode and also overlay to add soft shadows, while employing a light or glow layer to accentuate the bright areas, especially on the eyes and beak. To finish, I added a simple but enveloping background, using subdued colors that complemented Fal's figure without stealing his thunder using leaf brushes and textured brushes as well.

Fue un proceso intenso porque quería terminarlo hoy y eso me es gratificante, y estoy emocionada de haber podido plasmar un poco mi visión de el pequeño Fal en en este día. Espero que el pequeño Fal les robe una sonrisa y que puedan sentir todo el cariño que puse en él.

It was an intense process because I wanted to finish it today and that is gratifying, and I am thrilled to have been able to capture a little of my vision of little Fal on this day. I hope that little Fal will bring a smile to your faces and that you can feel all the love I put into him.
