Graphite drawing of girl Holozing| Fanart

Hello friends of Hive ♥️ welcome to my blog to show you a new art project that I have made inspired by some of the characters of the Holozing community. In this opportunity I will share with you what I came up with taking as reference some creations made for the community, as well as some accessories like the mask and a weapon that can't be seen, reflecting his characteristic lettering and holographic colors in the center of his clothes and part of his body. For this work I wanted to change the style I had been doing using cardboard squares and acrylic paints to a drawing block and a graphite, as I loved the final result I wanted to share the whole process, with much love for you, I hope you like it!

Materials

  • Drawing Block
  • Drawing guide
  • Graphite pencil HB 2HB
  • Colored pencils and markers

To begin with, taking as a reference an initial drawing, I first drew the part of the girl's face, especially the eyes which are my favorite part, so I continued with her eyebrows and giving shape to what will be the edge of the mask. Then I moved on to the hair, and this at first gave me a little more nerves than everything because it was very long and abundant, plus I still do not master the technique to make that more realistic effect, but in the end with a little practice, making light and firm strokes to create lights and shadows, I liked how it came out.

Now came the clothes, a turtleneck shirt, very similar to the original design, where I wanted to add the holographic letter Z that represents the name of the game. The jacket was also a little difficult because it was hard to create those contrasts of lights and shadows, something that in a graphite drawing is important. Once I finished with his clothes, hair and face, it was time to give him some color, and for that I first used crayons to soften, both in the letter and in the eyes, then I used colored pencils that in the end I didn't like much, and finally I used fine tip markers, that although they don't combine or degrade, they stand out a little from the rest of the drawing and that was enough for me with my initial idea.

And here you have some pictures of the finished project...a very nice and original design of a Holozing girl with some references of accessories of the same...I hope you liked my tutorial showing you the whole creative process so if you want you can make yours and add one more to the collection, I say goodbye and until next time!💕.
